23: Mini-games, Magical Girl

"[Level Three Shelter Blueprint Introduction: A necessary item to upgrade a second level Shelter to a Level Three Shelter.]"

"[Extraordinary Item: Soldier's Blessing (Medal) Introduction: Carrying it on your person or placing it in a Shelter can bring a certain amount of luck.]"

"[exotic treasure: spark medal Introduction: When encountering a life-threatening situation, all four dimensional attributes receive a 100% boost! No side effects! If you possess the Soldier's Blessing medal, its luck boost is 500%!]"

"I don't even have a second level Shelter yet, but I've already collected the blueprint for a Level Three Shelter," Tang Ping said, placing everything inside his Shelter.

He was very satisfied with the latter two items as well; although he wouldn't use them often, when they did come into play, they were just as good as life-saving items.

Especially the item called an exotic treasure; it wasn't an extraordinary item, nor an extraordinary weapon. The information clearly stated [exotic treasure], which was enough to indicate its extraordinary nature.

Its effect also confirmed the exotic treasure's power: a 100% boost to all attributes!

While it only activated when encountering a life-threatening situation, this was hardly a flaw.

Tang Ping's current attributes were low, so a 100% boost didn't seem like much, but when his four dimensional attributes reached several hundred or even over a thousand in the future!

A 100% boost then would truly be heaven-defying!

Both medals were hung on the wall by Tang Ping's bed.

His current bed had been replaced by a bunk bed he found on the way out of Jiangcheng, greatly increasing the utilization rate of the Shelter space.

The upper bunk was filled with various items. He didn't discard the ten pink bear plushies that came out of the treasure chest; after all, they were from a treasure chest.

As for Tang Ping himself, he slept on the lower bunk. Underneath the lower bunk, he could store some shoes. The shoes from ten sets of sportswear, ten pairs of slippers, and ten pairs of travel shoes were all placed there.

When Tang Ping used to play games, he disliked discarding items from monster drops, always categorizing and keeping them. Even in building mini-games, he would specifically make a box to store unused sand and dirt.

So, when it came to playing the real-life version, out of habit, he didn't throw anything away, thinking it might be useful.

He tidied the Shelter meticulously, putting all the acquired clothes, socks, and underwear into the storage box on the upper bunk.

Everything was neatly arranged.

The shelves were also filled with previously hoarded compressed biscuits, expiring canned meat, and various drinks and food from the treasure chest.

The cramped Shelter, however, gave Tang Ping a full sense of security.

Nothing could be more reassuring in the apocalypse than having a pile of food and a safe Shelter.

After tidying everything up, Tang Ping began to carefully examine the mini-games.

The first one he opened was the Planting Oranges game he had just acquired on his phone.

The game screen was very simple, with an orange tree in the center, rendered in a straightforward anime style.

There was a large sun above, though it looked like it was about to set.

There were also some cartoon birds and butterflies, and small rabbits and marmots under the tree.

On the far left, there were the only two controllable buttons.

One was a water droplet, and the other was a fruit basket.

The water droplet was for collecting water sources. The fruit basket was for clicking on ripe oranges to collect them into the basket. Clicking the fruit basket again allowed you to choose the quantity of oranges to take out.

Then you could take the oranges into reality.

Tang Ping noticed that "+3" was already displayed below the water droplet, which should mean three drops of water had been collected.

He then clicked the water droplet to water the orange tree.

The orange tree swayed, seemingly enjoying it.

After all three drops of water were poured, small flowers finally bloomed on the orange tree.

Hey! It was quite fun, actually.

Tang Ping discovered that he could also click on some small water droplets that appeared on the screen to speed up water collection.

He could even snatch water from the little rabbits, marmots, and birds, making them jump around in anger. Eventually, they would run off the screen, only to return shortly after with water droplets on their mouths.

Those water droplets could also be clicked and collected, and at this point, the small animals would show expressions of enjoyment.

Thus, with Tang Ping's unremitting efforts, the flowers gradually grew larger, then bore small oranges.

"These small oranges are growing too slowly," Tang Ping stretched his fingers and turned to open another mini-game.

Magical Girl!

The screen showed the interior of a very dilapidated house, with a visible bedroom and living room.

Tang Ping could freely move the furnishings inside, and even spend gold coins to repair the house or add new furniture and decorations.

As for the source of gold coins, Tang Ping's gaze fell on the food on the shelves.

Two minutes later.

Two boxes of compressed biscuits and two boxes of mineral water were empty beside Tang Ping, five pizzas were gone, and a cotton quilt had vanished.

Only two pink bear plushies remained, forming a lonely pair.

Magical Girl, not even a dog would play it!

Tang Ping: A dog wouldn't play it, but I would.

The Magical Girl seemed to be away from home.

But Tang Ping didn't pay attention to these things; he was simply meticulously decorating his house.

That's right, the mini-game was his, and the house within the mini-game was naturally his too.

The original house was dirty, many wooden planks were rotten and damaged, the windows were drafty, and the roof even let in light.

Now, thanks to the gold coins exchanged for resources, and the almighty gold coins, the room was completely revitalized!

Even the bed, which originally had a tattered quilt that felt rough, now had a clean, thick floral cotton quilt.

Eight pink bear plushies were neatly arranged by the bed.

Tang Ping looked at the plain table, feeling something was missing. His gaze scanned the room and finally landed on a cactus, which he had kept in his rental apartment for a year.

Tang Ping directly clicked 'bless' and then placed the cactus on his phone.

The cactus immediately disappeared, appearing in the warehouse. He dragged the cactus out of the warehouse and moved it towards the table.

At this moment, the door in the game opened.

A thin, sallow-faced girl in a black robe entered.

The girl was visibly stunned upon entering the room.

Then exclamation marks and question marks popped up frantically above her head!

Finally, upon seeing the cactus sitting steadily on the brand new wooden table.

She actually knelt down and bowed towards the table!

Words appeared above the Magical Girl's head.

"『Thank you for the divine grace!』"

"『Merciful God, Sophia will offer you her sincere loyalty!』"

"『Wuwuwu, such a warm room, Sophia no longer has to endure the cold.』"

"Sophia devoutly thanks the merciful God!』"

"『Oh my! Is this the divine object bestowed by God? It can even purify the air!』"

"『Oh my, such clean air! Wuwuwu, thank you, God!』"

Sophia came all the way to the bedroom and was instantly stunned!

"『Such a beautiful and clean quilt, is this from God for Sophia?』"

"『Great God, Sophia will surely become your most devout follower!』"

"『Ahhh! Such cute dolls! So soft, so warm!』"

Tang Ping looked at the thin and small Magical Girl, and his gaze fell on his pizza again.

Finally, he made up his mind!

"Charge!"
