176: Purple Golden Sun Tree

The night breeze swept through, and the green grass on the mountaintop was lush.

At this moment, there were no longer any corpses scattered everywhere; everything had returned to tranquility.

Only some freshly turned earth indicated that this place had not been like this just moments before.

Down the mountain, the chaos continued, but it was already under control.

The rebellious individuals were being apprehended one by one, and even more had already become cold corpses.

In the mountain forest, Elder Hai looked towards the mountaintop, his gaze filled with wonder, "It seems I was overly worried."

Beneath his feet lay the corpse of an unknown person; judging by the residual aura, this was also a formidable expert not to be underestimated, yet now he lay silently, dead at the hands of an inconspicuous old man.

The old book in Elder Hai's hand flipped open, and a streak of spiritual light shot into the sky, landing within the peach tree. The peach tree swayed, and its hazy consciousness seemed to become much clearer after this spiritual light.

After completing these tasks, Elder Hai's gaze fell upon the base below once more, heaved a sigh, and finally descended the mountain, returning to his shack, appearing to be just an ordinary old man.

This was the old man Zhang Xile had mentioned, the one who helped him manage the base's affairs. Clearly, he was not a simple old man, which was why Tang Ping had agreed so decisively when Zhang Xile proposed entering the Heavenly Mansion Pavilion.

"Imprison all these people. We'll deal with them after the Chief Steward returns." Zhang Hong looked at the captured rebels his subordinates brought back. He didn't execute them immediately, thinking that after confiscating their Shelters, keeping them to dig stones might be more useful than killing them. After all, they were just low-level Talent Users and couldn't stir up much trouble.

"Yes, Captain."

"Behave! You should be grateful that you fell into our Captain's hands and can still keep your lives."

Those kneeling on the ground thought the same, but it wouldn't be long before they changed their minds.

"Roar!" A deafening roar echoed throughout the entire base.

The gigantic Black Bear with deer antlers patrolled the base, its terrifying size like a colossal boulder pressing down on everyone's hearts, making them almost unable to speak from the oppression.

The chaotic crowd, like chickens and ducks whose necks had been squeezed, gradually quieted down.

Everyone realized that the true rebellion had ended.

Beside the Black Bear, a group of soldiers in silver armor followed; they were the Tianfu Army.

The identity of the Black Bear with deer antlers was self-evident.

Everyone's eyes fearfully stared at the Black Bear and the young man sitting sideways atop it.

Some of the older residents of the base even recognized the young man's identity.

"It's Meng Ziyi," someone whispered.

"Who is Meng Ziyi?"

"You came late, so you don't know him. This is an A-rank Talent Holder who appeared after the leader returned and had everyone awaken their Talents."

"A-rank!"

"That's right, A-rank. I can't believe how strong he's become in such a short time."

Many people looked on with envy, but unfortunately, ninety-nine percent of those who awakened their Talents were only F-rank or E-rank.

The chaos in the base slowly subsided under the suppression of the Tianfu Army.

As a way to appease the people, the base compensated all residents who suffered losses with contribution points.

As dawn broke, many people were already up, starting to collect items and busy building their own shacks.

This long-planned rebellion ended without the true high-level officials of the base even needing to act. Some quick-witted individuals had already seen that Tianfu Base had easily crushed these people as if they were performing a monkey show. The entire atmosphere of the base became much clearer and less restless for a time.

The foundation of Tianfu Base brought peace of mind to more people, but also caused unease for others.

Among them were the bases in Luan City.

This chaos also had the shadow of several bases in Luan City.

In a spacious auditorium, the leaders of several bases gathered.

But no one spoke, and the atmosphere was somewhat oppressive.

"What should we do?" Finally, someone couldn't bear it and spoke, his eyes filled with deep anxiety and fear.

"Will they send troops against us in the future? It's so dangerous outside, they shouldn't, right?" A leader tried to comfort himself.

"Don't fantasize. As long as they exist, they will definitely emerge in the future, and we will be their first obstacle. This is a geographical inevitability." A leader's face was grim.

Actually, he overestimated himself. An obstacle? Perhaps, not even a stumbling block.

"Now, we have two choices," a leader said.

"First, continue to stay here."

"Second, migrate!"

The auditorium fell silent again; neither choice was good.

The first meant facing the pressure brought by Tianfu Base.

The second, needless to say, with thousands of people in the base, migration was not that easy. Moreover, once they migrated, they would inevitably have to move at least a hundred kilometers, or even further, otherwise what would be the difference from not migrating? Along the way, they would face countless dangers.

Unless they were willing to abandon these people and leave with only a few.

"I have an idea that might work: directly destroy the foundation of Tianfu Base." A leader with narrow eyes suddenly spoke.

"What idea?" The nearby leader casually asked, clearly not thinking the other party had any good solution.

But very quickly, after the narrow-eyed leader finished his narration, the other leaders' expressions changed, and their gazes towards him were filled with disbelief and fear.

"This, doing this, is too, against the heavens..."

"Hmph, what's against the heavens or earth? What, as long as it doesn't harm us, it's fine."

"But those ordinary people are innocent."

"I agree!" Suddenly, a base leader spoke.

After he spoke, the others remained silent for a moment, then one after another, they also agreed.

Soon after, the leaders in the auditorium dispersed... Purple Heart Flower Valley.

Wu Weiwei had already woken up.

"Once you're ready, we'll leave. Is there anything else to pack here? You might be staying at Tianfu Base permanently from now on."

Wu Weiwei shook her head.

"I was going to stay here my whole life anyway, it's just a change of place. From what you said, Peach Mountain seems even more beautiful than here." Wu Guxin was quite open-minded, a smile on her face, not at all dejected despite losing all her strength.

"Sister! Aunt! I want to go out and play, I don't want to stay here anymore!" A boy rushed over and pounced on her. He was clearly seventeen or eighteen, but his behavior was like that of a seven or eight-year-old child.

Wu Guxin's eyes showed tenderness, "Okay, Auntie will take you out to play."

"Auntie is the best!"

The Great Emperor Moth soared into the sky, traversing through the towering mountains and ridges. In less than an hour, it returned to Tianfu Base.

"Zhang Xile, go arrange the base. We'll go acquire the purple light golden sun tree in a few days."

"Really!" Hearing about the much-desired purple light golden sun tree, Zhang Xile's face lit up with excitement. "Brother Tang, I'll go take care of the base's matters right away."

At this time, Tang Ping then instructed Wu Weiwei, "Weiwei, don't set up those Gu worms yet. There's something I need you to do first."

Wu Weiwei turned to look at him.

"Kill the leaders of these few bases in Luan City."

"Okay."

"No need to rush on the way. Just kill these people within a week. Take your time on the road and clean up the path leading to Tianfu Base again."

"Mhm."

Tang Ping watched Wu Weiwei descend the mountain, then looked into the distance, a smile playing on his lips, "Want to cause trouble?"

He turned to prepare his things. He didn't take the few bases in Luan City seriously, just like those people in Tianfu Base.

Those people in Tianfu Base at least got to jump around a bit because he wanted to clear out the parasites and clean up the base.

But these people didn't even get a chance to jump around.

Three days later, the Great Emperor Moth flew from the top of Peach Mountain, leaving Tianfu Base once again.

On the way, Tang Ping thought of the Magical Girl game, which he hadn't checked in a long time, so he opened it to take a look. As soon as he saw it, he was stunned.

"This map?"
