131: Chapter 131 The Defeat is Inevitable

A Warlord-class Titan moved through the entire Middle Hive area, unstoppable and rampaging.

Before Kargos could even react, the laser cannon on the Titan's shoulder had finished charging.

A sky-shattering, earth-shattering deep blue beam instantly swept across an entire main thoroughfare.

Every Berserker, bastion, and Chaos engine of destruction on that main thoroughfare was vaporized from the ground in that instant.

Nothing could stop the progress of the Warlord-class Titan when it spotted the dense Chaos Forces and artillery positions in the distance.

The missile launchers on its shoulders fired rapidly, and rockets filled the sky, swallowing the enemies ahead in a sea of fire.

All the mortal troops and Astartes cheered with adrenaline-fueled excitement; their morale had reached its peak, and they charged forward frantically.

As for why Xia Xingchen agreed to deploy the Titan?

One must mention the efforts of Inquisitor Kolo, Chapter Master Badan Duwaro, and Canoness Vera.

For an entire week, the three of them took turns trying to persuade Xia Xingchen.

To let him deploy the Titan into the battlefield.

Xia Xingchen had consistently refused, citing that the city's defense systems would threaten the safety of the Titan.

He could not bear to commit his only Titan to a battlefield full of uncertainties; as long as anti-Titan weapons existed on Troy World, he would not commit the Titan to war.

In response, the three Imperial representatives offered a multitude of conditions.

Ultimately, under the conditions that they promised to destroy the enemy's anti-Titan weapons, endorse Xia Xingchen's Titan, and guarantee that he would not be questioned by the Titan Cult of Mars, Xia Xingchen finally agreed to deploy the Titan into the battlefield.

With the entry of this machine of God into the Imperial forces, the entire situation of the war was instantly reversed.

Positions that would have taken days or even weeks to capture were, in front of the Titan, merely a matter of lifting a foot and stepping down.

Kargos was stunned by this scene, and then loudly questioned the Khorne Bloodthirster:

"Where are the defensive weapons? Where are the anti-Titan macro-cannons and hell-laser cannons?"

Kargos finally understood why Xue Shatian had been so anxious to call him back, even going so far as to invoke the name of the Blood God.

Anyone in this situation would panic!

The Khorne Bloodthirster looked helpless:

"The moment you asked that question, it already meant that these things no longer exist in this world."

Kargos was also dumbfounded; how was he supposed to fight?

There was a Titan in front of him, and he was not Horus.

To deal with an existence like a Titan, one could only use another Titan or a space warship.

They had neither of those.

At this moment, Kargos looked at the Khorne Bloodthirster, his eyes filled with a hint of malice.

The Khorne Bloodthirster also saw the meaning in Kargos's eyes, so he immediately asked back:

"What do you want to do?"

Kargos reached out directly, and a powerful psychic restraint was placed upon the Khorne Bloodthirster.

"No! No!" The Khorne Bloodthirster struggled desperately.

"You cannot do that!"

"Sigh, among all of us, only you are immortal in the true sense. Now, it is your turn to make a contribution."

Kargos knew that these Chaos demons would not truly die; they would only slowly regenerate in the Warp.

Since that was the case, why not use their power to establish a connection with the Blood God and eliminate the Titan in front of them?

The Khorne Bloodthirster was furious.

It's not you being sacrificed, and the whip isn't lashing your back, so you don't know what pain is, right?

Just as the Khorne Bloodthirster wanted to resist, he suddenly perceived the intent of the Blood God.

Clearly, the Blood God also needed the Khorne Bloodthirster to act as an anchor to the reality of the universe, allowing him to help Xue Shatian.

With no other choice, the Khorne Bloodthirster could only leave behind a harsh threat:

"Don't let me run into you in the Warp again."

Kargos, however, did not care in the slightest.

As he cast an ancient Warp spell,

The Khorne Bloodthirster's body twisted and disintegrated in a bizarre manner, then transformed into a cloud of blood mist, within which some powerful entity was vaguely lurking.

Subsequently, under the infusion of Kargos's power, he manipulated this blood mist to quickly attach itself to the nearest hell-cannon that had already been destroyed.

Under the influence of the Warp's psychic energy, the previously broken hell-cannon instantly began to gather energy again.

As the hell-cannon finished charging, massive amounts of energy gathered in the barrel, and then a shell shaped like a blood skull was fired, slamming heavily into the Titan.

With the blessing of the Blood God's power, the hell-cannon instantly tore through the Warlord-class Titan's Void Shield protection.

In an instant, the power of Khorne paralyzed the entire Titan.

Seeing this, Xia Xingchen's troops quickly pushed up; they had to destroy that giant cannon at any cost.

As Kargos was controlling the giant cannon and preparing to fire a second shot, a Valkyrie attack aircraft, in an almost suicidal manner, crashed directly into the giant cannon formed by the power of the Warp.

This strike forced Kargos to readjust the Warp energy.

And just as Kargos was performing precise control, another group of people he had not expected appeared.

The Grey Knights had actually charged out directly from below.

Kargos was stunned when he saw this.

"I already let you off, why are you still chasing after me so relentlessly?"

At this moment, the blade of the Grey Knights was already swinging directly toward Kargos's forehead. With no choice, Kargos had to interrupt the ritual.

Instantly, the giant cannon, which had been charged to the limit, collapsed into a pile of fragments, and the blood-mist-like energy scattered onto the ground.

Kargos was truly angry now.

He unhesitatingly unleashed a powerful Warp evil energy, scattering the people around him with a single blow, and then violently grabbed a Grey Knight, ripping his head off.

"Bastards! You all deserve to die!"

Kargos roared angrily.

Immediately after, Kargos quickly charged toward the others to kill them.

Just as Kargos was about to embark on a killing spree, two high-altitude fighters spotted him.

Although they did not understand what relationship this monster had with that group of white-armored warriors, it didn't matter who they were; they just needed to kill them all.

Machine guns and missiles poured down crazily onto the platform.

Seeing this, Kargos immediately dodged.

The Grey Knights also had to quickly evacuate the platform.

After escaping danger, Kargos looked at the battlefield, which had completely collapsed, and the Middle Hive had fallen; there was no need to stay here anymore, so he tore open a spatial rift and left.

After confirming they had evaded the Imperial Army's attacks, the Grey Knights found a concealed corner, then activated their teleportation devices and returned directly to the Black Ships.
