32: Chapter 32 Galaxy Situation

First, if a planet has vast plains, fertile land, and a good living environment, it is highly likely to be designated as an Agricultural World, not a Hive World.

It must be mentioned that human Hive Cities are not built on plains but are constructed relying on naturally formed high mountains. Only the solid foundations of these peaks can support the towering, sky-high super-cities that are human Hive Cities.

It is clear that the second planet is not suitable for building Hive Cities, and its agricultural value is far greater than its residential value.

The third planet, the one Xia Xingchen just observed with a reddish-orange ocean, has three continents, with oceans and land each accounting for 50% of the planet.

On the land, over 40% of the area consists of high mountains and hills, and the environment here is not harsh for humans; compared to Earth, it is only slightly worse.

The reddish-orange ocean is entirely due to a special kind of algae living on this planet.

This place is very likely to become Xia Xingchen's Hive World in the future.

As for the gas giant, Xia Xingchen hopes to transform its moon into a Forge World for producing various equipment.

Xia Xingchen plans to turn the outermost ice dwarf into a fortress guarding the entire star system.

Xia Xingchen looked at these five planets and named them one by one.

"Scarlet Iron Planet, Pasture Field Planet, Lanshan Planet, Ice Ring Planet, Pluto Moon."

Xia Xingchen pointed to each planet on the star map as he named them.

"Have these planets been scanned for signs of life?"

After speaking, Xia Xingchen eagerly wanted to know if there were humans or other xenos in this star system.

If they were humans, they could be recruited as laborers.

If they were xenos, they would be destroyed on the spot.

Nuwa immediately replied:

"Master, we need some time."

Nuwa then quickly marked five moving red dots on the optical map.

"Our probe ships have departed. In half an hour, detailed information about each planet will be sent back."

Xia Xingchen nodded, not in a hurry. It was best to first gather all information about the entire star system and then proceed slowly.

Soon, the first probe ship sent back images of Scarlet Iron Planet.

Xia Xingchen was in the ship's command room, and he had also called Leovitos over.

The optical electronic screen displayed a planet covered in lava and black iron.

Clearly, this planet is constantly in an extreme environment of high temperature and high pressure.

Leovitos looked at the planet, performing precise calculations based on the available images. Leovitos's red optical sight flickered continuously, and his brain's logic engine also ran at high speed simultaneously.

"If nothing unexpected happens, my lord.

This planet must contain rich mineral resources.

In the future, we might be able to try establishing a mining and smelting plant on this planet."

Xia Xingchen agreed with this, but for now, they couldn't reach that step; everything would take time.

Next, the second to send back images was the Lanshan Planet probe.

This time, the images presented a completely different scene to Xia Xingchen and everyone else. The images were not purely natural landscapes; for the first time, human figures appeared.

Xia Xingchen looked at the optical screen and saw a castle resembling those from medieval Western Europe appear in the image.

Xia Xingchen looked at those humans, filled with emotion.

Now, their basic population was settled.

However, in Leovitos's eyes, these people were all imperfect production units.

"These people are too crude; their bodies are un-augmented and completely unable to sustain high-intensity production work."

Clearly, Leovitos still adhered to the traditions of the Adeptus Mechanicus; they largely viewed Imperial citizens as production units rather than living beings.

And in the automated production process that Leovitos insisted on, humans were an indispensable link. To maintain a fully automated production process, ordinary people had to endure high-intensity work.

Xia Xingchen didn't say much, as the things Leovitos mentioned were still far off.

What he should consider most now is how to quickly establish his rule on Lanshan Planet.

Just as Xia Xingchen was pondering how to conquer Lanshan Planet.

Whether to choose military conquest or a gentler approach.

Nuwa reminded Xia Xingchen to first arrive at Lanshan Planet, then find an opportunity to overthrow the original system and establish his own order.

The images from the second planet, Pasture Field Planet, were also transmitted simultaneously.

This time, the style of the images changed abruptly. What appeared in the center of the screen was neither the environment of Pasture Field Planet nor its unique biological species.

Instead, it was a human, a young girl, standing quietly in the very center of the image.

At this moment, the entire battleship's crew quickly discovered the anomaly.

"Our probe is unable to move; it seems to be fixed in place due to an unknown reason, turning into a stationary camera."

Hearing this news, Xia Xingchen's alarm bells rang. Sure enough, this was definitely not normal.

A petite and beautiful young girl with green eyes and short black hair appeared on a primitive planet, smiling at the probe's monitoring lens.

Xia Xingchen immediately suspected this was a prank by a Warp demon.

Perhaps it would be better to simply use an orbital strike to blast her and this area to smithereens. Even if it damaged a part of the planet, it would be worth it.

After all, this was too crazy. A girl suddenly appeared on a primitive planet, and she had also built a small house, raised sheep, and cultivated a small plot of land full of golden wheat.

Xia Xingchen swallowed hard. Abnormal, too abnormal.

Just as Xia Xingchen was about to issue the destruction order, the Aquila medallion bestowed by the Emperor suddenly flickered.

The Aquila on Xia Xingchen's chest was emitting a faint but clear golden light.

Is this guidance from the Emperor?

Xia Xingchen also wondered if the Emperor wanted him to go there personally.

Xia Xingchen took off the Aquila medallion from his chest. The medallion in his hand still emitted a faint golden light.

Despite this medallion having no optical or electronic components, it could spontaneously generate light.

Leovitos watched this scene, his brain instantly overloaded. This defied basic laws of physics. At this moment, he could only exclaim loudly:

"Oh! This must be the manifestation of the great Omnissiah!"

Xia Xingchen glanced at the medallion in his hand, then at the girl on the screen. She seemed to have already anticipated Xia Xingchen's arrival, as she had brought out red tea and bread from her small house and placed them on a table in the courtyard.

"God-Emperor, I am loyal to you, and I am willing to believe your guidance."

Xia Xingchen ultimately chose to trust the Emperor's guidance.

Xia Xingchen elevated the mission of meeting this mysterious girl to the highest priority.
