32: Chapter 32 The Student Council's Intrigue is Deeper Than Your Thesis

Li Xue stood in front of the stall, shaking her phone in her hand.

The male and female lackeys behind her took out their phones upon hearing this, shoving the lenses into Jiang Feng's face, the red recording dots blinking.

Jiang Feng pulled up the collar of his down jacket, leaving only his eyes exposed. As his gaze swept over Li Xue, lines of data appeared in the air.

【Bone Structure: Brow bone too high, suppressing the Property Palace.】

【Complexion: Children Palace (tear troughs) dull, lips pale, blood deficient.】

【Talent Rating: Histrionic Personality (Grade B).】

【Current Status: Abandoned by friends and family (incubation period), impending ruin (about to trigger)...】

The data faded away.

Jiang Feng stared at her eyebrows.

They were tattooed too straight, the tails were drawn too long, and they were pressed extremely low, directly covering the Property Palace.

Low eyebrows pressing on the eyes, combined with high cheekbones. A classic life of toil, and also a classic wealth-giving boy.

"Start," Li Xue said, opening her Chanel bag, pulling out a red bill, and loosening her fingers.

The banknote fluttered down onto the concrete ground at Jiang Feng's feet.

"If you get it right, it's yours. If you get it wrong, you have to shout 'I am a fraud' three times into the camera."

The crowd of onlookers booed.

Jiang Feng didn't look at the money on the ground. He pulled his hand out of his pocket, fumbled around under his small stool for a long time, and pulled out a chipped thermos.

He unscrewed the cap, blew on the water, and took a drink.

"Want to ask if you can get into the presidium?" Jiang Feng's voice was a bit hoarse.

Li Xue frowned, very unhappy with the feeling of being ignored.

"Minister of the Outreach Department," she said with a nod of her chin. "Although it's already been decided internally, I just want to hear how you make things up."

Jiang Feng put down his cup.

"You won't get in," he added. "Let alone Minister, you won't even get a spot as a regular member."

His tone was as flat as if he were reading an instruction manual.

Li Xue didn't say anything, but the boy holding the phone behind her scoffed first.

"Are you joking? Five million in sponsorship for the school anniversary last semester, and Sister Xue raised half of it alone. With that kind of performance, who else could be the Minister of the Outreach Department besides her?"

The other girl chimed in, "Exactly, who in the entire student union doesn't know how hard Sister Xue works? What would a street stall owner like you know?"

The people around them started whispering.

"This seems to be Li Xue from the Finance Department. Her family is loaded."

"I heard that too. Her dad is a school board member. This stall owner has kicked an iron plate."

Li Xue crossed her arms, waiting for Jiang Feng to make a fool of himself.

Jiang Feng capped the thermos and stuffed it back under his bottom.

"Your ability is indeed strong."

Just as Li Xue was about to open her mouth, Jiang Feng continued, "But your character is not."

He pointed at Li Xue's face.

"High cheekbones with no flesh, this is called a 'Lone Peak Standing Alone.' Mean-spirited and difficult to lead others."

Li Xue's face darkened.

"And these lines at the corners of your eyes are all signs of bad romance luck." Jiang Feng held up three fingers. "You've been stringing along three boys at the same time recently. It must be tiring, right?"

The scene suddenly went silent.

The two lackeys exchanged glances.

Jiang Feng continued.

"The one from the Physics Department helps you write your Marxism philosophy papers." Jiang Feng bent down one finger.

"The one from the Physical Education Department is responsible for saving seats and buying food." He bent down another one.

"The one from the Computer Science Department has it the worst; he pulled three all-nighters for your campaign PPT."

Li Xue took half a step back, her fingers gripping her bag strap turning white.

These backup options didn't know about each other's existence; she had managed it flawlessly. How did this person know?

"This is called a lack of personal integrity." Jiang Feng patted the dust off his gloves. "The student union wants an image representative, not a master of time management."

"Your competitor has already compiled your dirty little secrets into a document and sent it to the faculty advisor."

"Where's the proof?" Li Xue's voice rose.

"Voice messages." Jiang Feng coughed and pinched his throat to mimic her: " 'You're the best, brother,' 'How can I live without you?'"

The onlookers burst into laughter.

Jiang Feng returned to his normal voice: "The guy from the Computer Science Department knows technology; he backed up all the recordings as a precaution."

"So, forget about the presidium." Jiang Feng looked at her. "Start thinking about how to write your self-criticism instead."

Li Xue froze in place.

When she ran into her arch-rival this morning, the expression on their face was indeed strange—neither jealousy nor provocation, but purely looking at a joke.

Bzz— Bzz—

The phone in her bag suddenly vibrated wildly.

Li Xue shuddered, rummaged through her bag in a panic, her hand slipped, and the phone fell to the ground with a clatter.

The screen was facing up, glowing.

The caller ID displayed: 【Teacher Zhang】.

The student union faculty advisor.

Li Xue stared at the screen, motionless.

"Ah—!"

Li Xue screamed, lunged to grab the phone, hung up the call, and then frantically called back, stumbling as she ran away, her high heels nearly twisting her ankle.

The two lackeys quickly put away their phones, lowered their heads, and slipped into the crowd to escape.

None of the dozens of people around made a sound; all eyes were focused on Jiang Feng.

【Ding! Valid fortune-telling count: 2/3】

Jiang Feng rubbed his hands, bent down to pick up the hundred-yuan bill, flicked the banknote, folded it, and stuffed it into his inner pocket.

"Second fortune, done."

The crowd hadn't dispersed yet.

"Make way! Excuse me!"

Shouts came from outside. Someone pushed hard through the crowd of onlookers and squeezed in. It was a tall boy in a basketball jersey, drenched in sweat.

He rushed to the front of the stall, hands on his knees, panting so hard he couldn't speak clearly.

"Master... huff... Master!"

The boy looked up, his face covered in anxious sweat, his eyes red.

"Help me calculate... where my girlfriend went!"
