Arix didn’t know how long she had been running, but now she felt totally exhausted. Even the air she breathed felt like it had blades, painfully scraping her throat.

Her mind was slowly going blank. Then suddenly, Arix stumbled, losing her balance. Just before she passed out, she thought she heard Drexel’s voice, filled with panic.

"Arix!"

Drexel was close by. He had initially come back to laugh at his sister but instead saw Arix collapsing. His heart seemed to stop for several seconds.

Drexel ran to her in panic. He caught Arix as she passed out and pulled her close to his chest. Then he frantically started checking on her.

"Let me handle this, Drexel. I’m a student of the Department of Chemistry, and I’ve learned some medical stuff," Calista said as she pushed through the crowd of students. She got to Arix’s side and immediately started examining her.

First, she checked Arix’s eyes, then felt her carotid artery. After a moment, she breathed a slight sigh of relief, "Her heart is just beating fast; she’s not in any life-threatening danger."

After saying that, Calista began to check Arix’s limbs. However, as she lifted her hand, her expression suddenly froze. Her eyes widened in disbelief.



"This is outrageous!"

Calista stared intently at the weight ring on Arix’s wrist, her lower lip bitten tightly, her eyes slightly reddened with anger.

"Why are you crying? Didn’t you say my sister is not in serious danger? Do we need to find a handsome guy to give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation?" Drexel, relieved that Arix wasn’t in mortal peril, still had the mood to joke.

Calista, face cold, didn’t respond. She grabbed Drexel’s hand, placing the hand wearing the weight ring in his, and then swapped it with her own weighted hand.

Drexel was initially confused by Calista’s actions. However, when Calista’s hand also rested in his, he suddenly realized something. His voice hoarse, he asked, "What’s your physical power level?"

"I’m Star-Class," Calista replied. Her eyes blazed with anger, her tone chilly.

According to the rules, Star-Class weight rings are 100 kilograms, and Planet Class rings are 60 kilograms. Calista knew that only three instructors could tamper with such things.

Drexel had thought of it too; if it weren’t for the reality right in front of him, he would never have imagined that his precious sister was being sabotaged right under his nose.

"The instructors are here." A student suddenly shouted.

Then the three instructors walked through the crowd and also saw Arix, unconscious.

Ortiz stepped forward, intending to take Arix to the medical room. But as soon as he reached out, an extremely angry Drexel forcefully slapped his hand away.

Before Ortiz could react, he saw a girl blocking Drexel.

Calista firmly grabbed Drexel’s arm, which was bulging with veins. She motioned for him to look at a tree branch nearby.

There was a all-direction surveillance camera recording everything without any blind spots.

Drexel’s expression darkened, and he regained some sense of calm. He said to the instructors with a forced smile, "You don’t have to do this. She’s my sister. I’ll handle it."



With that, Drexel no longer paid any attention to the three instructors and carefully picked up the unconscious Arix. He then headed towards the medical facility at the training base.

Calista also ignored the instructors and hurried to follow Drexel, helping support the unconscious Arix.

Ortiz, left with nothing to do, stood awkwardly and touched his nose. He then shouted to the students still discussing Arix’s collapse, "Training’s over, head back now. Anyone who doesn’t go back gets extra training."

With these words, the students scattered almost instantly, leaving the area deserted.

"Ortiz, you might want to be careful from now on. That young man’s furious gaze was hardly concealed," Virtanen cautiously said.

"What?" Ortiz was displeased upon hearing this and immediately retorted, "Why me alone? Aren’t you two also instructors?"

"You’re the head. Even if you’re not guilty, if a student has a health issue, it’s on you," Bauer pointedly said.

Ortiz was speechless.

At the instructors’ dorm at noon, just as Ortiz entered his room to rest, he heard the door lock behind him. He sighed resignedly, then turned to see Drexel and said, "Was it so urgent that you couldn’t even wait until evening?"

"You knew I would come, so it was indeed you bullying my sister," Drexel stated firmly. His eyes narrowed dangerously, his eyebrows raised thoughtfully.

"What do you mean ’bully’? I was actually doing this for Arix’s own good," Ortiz replied with a bitter smile.

Drexel laughed coldly, his gaze even icier as he retorted, "Maybe you should visit the medical room too. After all, I’m also doing this for your own good!"

Drexel emphasized his last words. Just as he was about to attack, his arms were seized by the two instructors who had appeared behind him.

"Good thing we arrived in time. Seems my lock-picking skills haven’t a bit rusted yet," Virtanen said somewhat shyly.



Drexel turned his head and noticed that the door he had just closed was now open. He chuckled without any hint of panic, "One or three, it doesn’t matter. Come at me all together."

"I admire your vigorous state and protective spirit, kid. Seeing you makes me realize that I’m really getting old," Bauer remarked, puffing on a cigarette.

Virtanen, seeing his teammates were unreliable, stepped forward to mediate and explain, "You’ve misunderstood. We aren’t trying to make things difficult for her. It’s actually because President Gunder specifically ordered us to elevate Arix’s physique to Star-Class by the end of the training. That’s why we were paying extra attention to her training."

Although Drexel was still angry, his mind had begun to cool down.

Bauer, seeing this, released his hold on Drexel and walked alone to the windowsill, puffing on his cigarette.

"You should know Arix’s situation best. If her physique doesn’t improve, she’ll face even more harm due to her psychic powers in the future. So, do you still think I’m trying to sabotage her?" Ortiz took a cigarette from Bauer, lit it, and spoke in a calm voice.

Arix’s overwhelmingly strong psychic power was like a double-edged sword. While it protected her, it also constantly threatened her life.

Drexel finally calmed down completely. He suddenly realized that the concerns the instructors had for Arix might not be less than his own.

It seemed he had been mistaken this time.

With this thought, Drexel bowed deeply to the three instructors as an apology. With a heavy heart, he turned and left the instructors’ dorm.

Ortiz’s face wore a look of enduring grievance throughout the ordeal, but he remained silent and watched as Drexel departed.

However, the moment he reached to close the door, the look of grievance on Ortiz’s face disappeared instantly, and he expressed a sense of relief, "Thank heavens. But why is he and his sister so different? Why does his physical strength completely cloud his mental power?"
