103: Chapter 103 First Experience of Kidnapping

To be honest, Liu Yemei could not understand the importance Chen Xin placed on Wang Shuo; she had never seen Chen Xin care so much about anyone before.

Moreover, as a woman herself, she keenly sensed that this level of concern seemed a bit excessive.

The distance from the Optics Valley Software Park to the factory in the suburbs of W City was not far—less than twenty kilometers—but since it was the start of the nightlife, the roads were bustling with traffic. Even though Liu Yemei had asked the driver to go as fast as possible, it still took over an hour to reach the factory area.

"This is the temporary factory I found at the request of President Wang, and he also comes here often," Liu Yemei said, introducing the place to Chen Xin beside her, and then skillfully entered the password.

The factory door slowly opened, and Chen Xin walked in first.

The inside of the factory was pitch black, not looking like anyone was there at all, but for some reason, four CNC Machining Centers were emitting a faint light, accompanied by the sound of metal being cut, as if they were still running.

Suddenly, the lights turned on, and everything in the room was revealed.

Parts were scattered all over the floor, the desks were cluttered, screens with lights on sat on the tables, and further inside were several CNC Machining Centers still in operation.

Chen Xin did not pay attention to these things; she quickly scanned the area but did not find any sign of Wang Shuo.

"Where else could he go?"

After Liu Yemei stood beside her, Chen Xin asked.

Liu Yemei shook her head, "If he is not here either, I cannot think of anywhere else he could go."

Chen Xin frowned slightly, thinking about something, and a moment later she turned and walked outside.

"Go to the school."

It was already two o'clock in the morning when Chen Xin saw Zheng Jun and the others.

Because the dormitory doors had long been locked, Zheng Jun and Li Li had no choice but to stay at the school gate, enduring the cold wind for over an hour.

"What is the situation now?"

After getting into the car, Zheng Jun didn't have time to admire the luxurious interior and asked impatiently.

"It is like this," Liu Yemei adjusted her glasses and said, "Since President Wang left the company yesterday, there has been no news from him until now. His phone is turned off, and we cannot reach him. We need your help now."

"Tell us, how can we help?" Zheng Jun asked seriously.

"When was the last time you saw President Wang?" Liu Yemei asked.

"About the same time as you, we haven't seen him since," Zheng Jun said with certainty. "Wang Shuo definitely did not return to school. If he had returned to school, he would not have failed to return to the dormitory."

"Me too," Li Li nodded, still holding his beloved laptop in his hands.

"Then what places might Wang Shuo go to?"

This time, the voice was cold but pleasant. Zheng Jun turned his head to look and saw that it was Chen Xin, who was sitting next to him, speaking. Her pair of beautiful, large eyes were quietly looking at him.

"I don't know. He doesn't usually have any special hobbies. If he doesn't even go to your company, I can't think of where he would go. He wouldn't go to a nightclub, would he?"

Chen Xin frowned upon hearing this.

"If that is the case..." Liu Yemei adjusted her glasses. She would subconsciously adjust her glasses when she was relatively nervous to relieve the sense of pressure.

"If that is the case, we have reason to suspect that President Wang has encountered danger..." She paused, "For example, kidnapping."

"Kidnapping?" Zheng Jun exclaimed.

Li Li hugged his computer tighter.

Chen Xin frowned deeply.

"But..." Zheng Jun asked in confusion, "Who would kidnap Wang Shuo?"

Who would kidnap Wang Shuo? This was also the question Wang Shuo wanted to ask at this moment.

Who would be bored enough to kidnap a small student like him? And they were incredibly unprofessional! Have you ever seen a kidnapper hit a hostage on the head with a stick three times without knocking them unconscious? Have you ever seen a kidnapper use a sex toy set to tie up a hostage?

Wang Shuo had encountered such a group of extremely unprofessional kidnappers.

Three hits, a full three hits. He had taken three solid hits, then was brought to the current location while fully conscious, and then tied to a chair by these guys using a sex toy set they had found somewhere.

At this moment, the kidnappers were sitting not far across from him, whispering and talking, occasionally turning their heads to glance at him with eyes full of gratification, though he didn't know what they were gratified about.

"Big brothers, I don't know why you have invited me here?"

When under someone else's roof, one has to bow one's head. To avoid any accidents that might lead to an untimely death, Wang Shuo endured it, his tone as sincere as possible.

"If you are doing this for money, I'm afraid you will be disappointed. I am just a student, and I even earn my own living expenses by working. I live paycheck to paycheck, so I'm afraid I cannot help you, big brothers."

There were three kidnappers in total, all wearing masks, as if afraid that Wang Shuo would recognize them.

"Kid, don't waste your breath. Just sit there and wait obediently. When the real person in charge comes, we will discuss the ransom with you."

One of the three, a man wearing a mask knitted from a towel, said loudly. Judging by his voice, he should be between thirty-five and forty years old.

"Then, big brothers, can you untie me?" Wang Shuo said very honestly, "I definitely won't run."

However, no matter what Wang Shuo said, the three of them stopped responding and huddled together, continuing to whisper.

If Wang Shuo could hear the three men's conversation at this moment, he would probably choke to death on his own saliva.

The kidnapper wearing the knitted mask said smugly, "How about that? Was I convincing enough? Did I give off the feeling of a peerless, ruthless bandit? Was it domineering enough?"

The other two kidnappers agreed, "Domineering, it was quite domineering. As expected of our big brother, the way you do things is truly professional."

The kidnapper in the knitted mask was very pleased. If he were to take off his mask, his mouth would probably be smiling from ear to ear.

"These days, it's not easy to find work. Of course, you have to be professional to have results and to make the client believe in our abilities. You two still need to learn well from me."

The other two kidnappers nodded repeatedly.

That was roughly the idea.

Wang Shuo shouted for a long time until his throat was a bit hoarse, but seeing no response from the three, he simply stopped wasting his effort. He turned his head to observe the surrounding environment and began to think of countermeasures.

Since he was conscious and had not been hooded, and only had to close his eyes and pretend to be unconscious because he was worried the three would be ruthless, he had a rough idea of his location.

This was still the warehouse center in the suburbs, and it looked like an abandoned factory area. Only here would it be hidden enough not to be easily stumbled upon... bah, discovered by others.

His mobile phone, watch, and other items had been taken away and were now sitting in a box beside the three men. Trying to get them back would likely be harder than ascending to heaven, especially since he was currently tied up and unable to move.

Suddenly, he spotted a flash of familiar white on the ground not far from the three men.

Wang Shuo showed a look of surprise. These three had actually brought this thing along, and looking at where it was placed, they hadn't paid any attention to it.

This would make things easier...

Wang Shuo felt a little more confident.
