165: Space Crack

“There’s no time to lose; let’s act immediately!”

Yatelang said with a stern expression, his gaze firm as he scanned everyone present, his words decisive.

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately perked up and responded in unison.

“Yes, Chief!”

“The few of you, come with me aboard my starship.”

Yatelang said, turning and leading Li Yang and his group towards the starship.

As Li Yang and the others stepped into the starship’s Command Room, they saw that the instruments inside were completely different from those on his own starship.

Li Yang’s gaze swept quickly, and just in the Command Room, he was surprised to find that there were more than a dozen Field Grade Officers, and each of them exuded a capable aura cultivated from long-term military training.

Looking closer, even the lowest-ranking military officer present was a Captain.

In comparison, he was the lowest-ranking among this group.

However, Li Yang didn’t mind this, as his mission this time was special; he wasn’t participating in the operation in the usual capacity of an Imperial Military Officer, but rather as a special inspector of galactic affairs.

“Division Commander, over the past period, our forces have conducted a comprehensive, all-angle deep scan of the entire Milky Way Galaxy, and the results show suspicious starship traces in its Oula Galaxy.”

As soon as everyone had taken their positions in the Command Room, a Field Grade Officer with a tall posture stepped forward.

His face was stern, and with a gentle wave of his hand in the air, a soft blue light screen instantly appeared in the center of the Command Room, clearly displaying various Galaxy maps and related data information.

Immediately after, this military officer faced Yatelang and reported this important discovery in an orderly manner.

Upon hearing this, Coens’s face instantly showed an uncontrollable surge of excitement.

As the Speaker of the Milky Way Galaxy, he knew every Galaxy within the Milky Way Galaxy like the back of his hand.

The Oula Galaxy, in his perception, was a barren Galaxy, like a desolate place in the universe, with no signs of civilization; normally, it would be impossible for a starship to appear there.

Now, the detection results clearly showed the presence of a suspicious starship there. After a brief thought, Coens could almost conclude that this was ninety-nine percent likely the Thug/Criminals they had been desperately searching for.

“Chief, I am more than familiar with the Oula Galaxy. That area shows no signs of civilization and has always been desolate. In my opinion, those Thug/Criminals are most likely hiding there.”

Coens’s expression was serious and certain, his gaze fixed on Yatelang, his words filled with confidence and judgment.

Yatelang listened to Coens’s analysis, narrowed his eyes slightly, pondered for a moment, then decisively nodded in agreement.

Immediately after, he quickly turned to the military officer beside him and ordered in an unquestionable tone.

“Immediately notify all forces to prepare at the fastest speed and head to the Oula Galaxy at once!”

“Yes!”

The military officer responded without hesitation.

The order had just been given, and in just a few short seconds, the entire force demonstrated astonishing efficiency and execution, already fully prepared.

In front of Yatelang’s main starship, energy began to gather rapidly, and a dazzling energy laser, like a brilliant meteor, shot out into the vast and boundless star field.

Accompanied by a strong energy fluctuation, the space ahead seemed to be violently torn open by an invisible giant hand, and a massive spatial rift, shimmering with strange light, suddenly appeared before everyone’s eyes.

Immediately after, the surrounding starships followed suit, one after another energy lasers shot out, accompanied by continuous energy tremors, and spatial rifts of various sizes, like mysterious black flowers, bloomed one by one in the star field.

The forces began to advance orderly towards these spatial rifts, starship after starship, like well-trained warriors, sequentially entering the rifts, a magnificent and awe-inspiring scene.

“What is this?”

Witnessing this unprecedented scene, Li Yang’s eyes were full of confusion, and he couldn’t help but ask.

After all, before this, all the starships Li Yang had encountered moved by means of hyperspace jumps.

This method of directly tearing space apart with powerful energy to achieve displacement was a first for him.

“The hyperspace jump method is indeed a more common and practical means of movement for starships below the galaxy-class. However, once a starship reaches the galaxy-class, hyperspace jumps become somewhat inadequate. The powerful energy possessed by a galaxy-class starship is sufficient to support us in directly tearing space, opening a spatial tunnel to the target location, and thus directly reaching our destination.”

A Field Grade Officer nearby seemed to notice Li Yang’s confusion and stepped forward, explaining patiently and in detail.

“In fact, besides this method of tearing space for displacement, galaxy-class starships also have other means of movement. We can also create controllable wormholes for movement, but this requires fixed coordinates and cannot be moved randomly.”

The Field Grade Officer continued.

Upon hearing this, an uncontrollable surge of excitement instantly welled up in Li Yang’s heart.

Just the movement method of this galaxy-class starship was so unique; if the means of movement were so powerful, then the weapons and equipment it carried must be even more powerful beyond imagination.

And in this brief moment while Li Yang was conversing with the Field Grade Officer, the spatial rift opened again with a strong surge of energy.

The forces skillfully maneuvered their starships, swiftly exiting the spatial tunnel like fish swimming in a stream.

At this moment, on a planet in the Oula Galaxy, inside the starships of the Thug/Criminals hiding there, an alarm suddenly blared sharply, as the detection system keenly picked up an anomaly.

“Report, Boss! A strong spatial fluctuation has been detected. Based on data analysis, it is highly likely that the Imperial starships have arrived!”

A subordinate ran frantically to the leading Octopus Person, his voice trembling noticeably, his face full of terror.

“So fast? It seems they’ve used a galaxy-class starship this time…”

The Octopus Person’s brows furrowed, a trace of panic flashed in his eyes, but he quickly feigned composure, though his slightly trembling tentacles betrayed his inner unease.

And just above this planet, in the vast star field, spatial rifts, deep as ink and shimmering with strange light, were opened one after another.

One after another magnificent starships, like colossal beasts emerging from the depths of time and space, slowly sailed out, arrayed in order, gradually filling the entire star field.
