51: The reactions of the five empires

In the Magical Beast Empire’s capital, within a tall, magnificent, and imposing castle...

“Your Majesty, there’s a Messenger outside who says he has important news to report.”

A guard respectfully reported to the King of the Magical Beast Empire.

“Oh? What important news? Bring him up.”

The King of the Magical Beast Empire set down his exquisite wine glass, waved his hand casually, and looked somewhat languid.

After all, the Five Great Empires had already signed a peace treaty. At most, there would be some monster beasts besieging cities. What else could be a major event? It couldn’t be that another empire had invaded, could it?

A short while later, the Messenger was brought in.

“Your Majesty, we have been fiercely attacked by an unknown enemy. Our border has been breached, Twin Mountain City has fallen, and all cities between the border and Twin Mountain City have been captured by the enemy!”

The Messenger said urgently, his voice trembling slightly from exhaustion and tension.

“What! The border breached? Twin Mountain City occupied? Why are you only reporting this now!”

The King, who had just been nonchalant, now looked astonished. He abruptly stood up from his throne, quickly descended the steps, and strode towards the Messenger, his face filled with anger and disbelief.

“Your Majesty, after Twin Mountain City was occupied by the enemy, our messages were truly difficult to transmit. If it weren’t for several Level Nine mages working together to cast powerful spells to send me out, I wouldn’t have been able to deliver this urgent news to you...”

The Messenger knelt on one knee, his head bowed deeply, his voice filled with endless helplessness and profound sorrow.

Upon hearing this, the King was completely stunned, his mind a blank. Who could possibly take so many of his cities in such a short amount of time?

It would be one thing if small cities fell, but those large cities basically all had Level Nine experts guarding them.

“They possess all sorts of strange but incredibly powerful magical puppets. Our city defense arrays are completely vulnerable before them and cannot hold. Even Level Nine experts find it difficult to withstand the attacks of their magical puppets...”

The Messenger continued to recount everything he had seen about the Blue Star Troops, tearfully describing the astonishing explosions of the magical puppets and the unique weapons everyone carried.

After listening to the Messenger’s detailed account, the King was plunged into extreme worry, his mood heavy to the extreme.

“Is this not a god descending to punish us?”

“Quick, send messages to the other four empires! Such a powerful enemy requires all Five Great Empires to unite and confront them together, otherwise, there won’t be even a sliver of hope for victory!”

The King shouted anxiously, his voice clearly trembling with panic.

“Yes!”

...

In the capital of the Forest Empire, a giant towering tree stood like a colossal umbrella before the palace. Beneath its shade, a guard knelt on one knee, reporting anxiously to the Queen of the Forest.

“Your Majesty, the Magical Beast Empire has sent us a message requesting aid!”

“Hmm? Aid?”

The Queen of the Forest frowned slightly, looking puzzled. She wondered what kind of upheaval would cause the Magical Beast Empire to send her a request for aid.

Thinking of this, she quickly reached out and took the envelope the guard handed her.

The Queen of the Forest unfolded the letter and read it carefully. As her gaze moved across the paper, her brows gradually furrowed.

The letter detailed much information about the Blue Star Troops, from their astonishingly powerful strange weapons to their swift operations, all of which were shocking.

“I hope the Magical Beast Empire is just exaggerating and lying...”

The Queen of the Forest murmured to herself. However, she knew in her heart that even if the Magical Beast Empire had exaggerated, judging from the content described in the letter, their enemy was by no means easy to deal with and indeed required the Five Great Empires to unite to have a chance of victory.

At the same time, besides the Forest Empire, the other four empires, upon receiving the letter from the Magical Beast Empire, all reacted with surprise and confusion.

After reading the letter, the King of the Beast King Empire couldn’t help but widen his eyes and say in disbelief, “How is this possible? The Magical Beast Empire’s defenses were breached so easily?”

One should know that the strength of their two empires was similar. If even the Magical Beast Empire couldn’t resist, then he certainly wouldn’t be able to either.

The King of the Chaos Empire, however, frowned deeply, lost in thought. He was well aware of the seriousness of the matter. If the Magical Beast Empire were truly occupied, the subsequent war would inevitably spread to his own empire, as their borders were adjacent.

The King of the Merman Empire wasn’t too worried, as his empire was in the ocean. However, the emergence of such a powerful enemy would pose a threat to his country no matter what.

After careful consideration and deliberation, the four great empires all chose to send troops to aid the Magical Beast Empire.

Because they all clearly realized that if they ignored the Magical Beast Empire’s crisis, once the Magical Beast Empire was occupied, then like lips without teeth, their own empires would surely be unable to stand alone. After all, no one knew who the mysterious enemy’s next target would be.

Even the Merman Empire felt the same, as if the land were completely occupied, who knew if they would come down to the sea to attack them.

At this critical juncture concerning life and death, the Five Great Empires must work together to resist the enemy’s attack to have a glimmer of hope...

On the other side, the Empire’s E-class titan transport ship once again delivered a large quantity of weapons and equipment to the Blue Star Troops. This time, in addition to conventional weapons, important items such as satellite devices were also added.

Although the fleet itself could also act as a satellite for reconnaissance, Blue Star’s missiles and other weapons, without satellite assistance, simply could not achieve long-range precision targeting. After all, Blue Star missiles could not directly connect with the starship to obtain relevant information.

After all, Blue Star’s weapon technology was still too low for the fleet and simply couldn't match.

In the newly constructed satellite launch base, Staff members were busy, their expressions tense but orderly.

The huge rocket stood majestically on the launch pad, and various parameters were repeatedly and meticulously checked and reconfirmed by Staff members.

“All units, attention! Prepare to enter launch countdown!”

The Commander’s strong and resonant voice echoed continuously throughout the base via broadcast.

“Ten, nine, eight... three, two, one, ignition!”

As this command was given, the operator pressed the button, and the bottom of the rocket suddenly spewed out surging flames. The immense thrust caused the entire launch pad to tremble slightly.

The rocket, carrying the satellite, slowly ascended into the sky, gradually disappearing from people’s sight.

In the control room, technical personnel intently monitored the data on the screens, constantly reporting the real-time status of the satellite.

“First-stage rocket separation successful!”

“Second-stage rocket ignition normal!”

Finally, the satellite successfully entered its predetermined orbit, slowly began to deploy its solar panels, and activated various pieces of equipment.

“Satellite successfully in orbit, all data normal, good communication with ground station!”

This exciting news brought a sense of relief to everyone, and smiles of satisfaction and joy involuntarily appeared on their faces.

With the successful experience of the first satellite launch, subsequent rocket launch missions also achieved complete success smoothly.

Within just one day, the Blue Star Troops launched more than a dozen satellites in succession.

With the help of these satellites, the Blue Star Troops seemed to possess a “heavenly eye,” enabling them to control the enemy’s movements more clearly and accurately.

Various missiles could also achieve more precise long-range strikes under the accurate guidance of the satellites, greatly enhancing the overall combat capability of the troops.
