7: First communication with Blue Star

However, no matter how other countries expressed their opinions and debated, the final decision-making power at this moment was firmly in the hands of the Great Elder of Rabbit Country.

The Great Elder gazed solemnly at the mysterious, unfathomable mask on the screen, which resembled an abyss, and fell into deep thought for a long time, unable to make a decision.

He knew that this decision was of extraordinary significance; it not only concerned his own honor and disgrace but was also closely related to the future and destiny of all global citizens.

“Ahem, this matter is of great importance, and I truly find it difficult to make a hasty decision in a short time... After all, I cannot be considered the sole Decision Maker of this planet. I must discuss and weigh the pros and cons with other countries. How about this, why don’t we have a frank face-to-face conversation? What do you think?”

Since he found it difficult to make the call alone, he decided to involve everyone and share the responsibility.

Hearing the Great Elder of Rabbit Country say this, the Captain also pondered seriously for a while before finally nodding in agreement.

“Alright, in that case, I will immediately arrange for someone to lead you. We can have a more in-depth discussion then.”

Seeing that the alien civilization agreed, a joyful smile instantly bloomed on the Great Elder’s face. He quickly finished speaking and promptly disconnected the remote communication.

“Phew, it’s my first time communicating with this mysterious alien civilization, and I’m truly incredibly nervous... Quickly go and meticulously prepare everything needed for the meeting, and also send urgent messages to other countries, asking them to arrive as soon as possible.”

...Meanwhile, at the transport ship, when a Team Member saw that his Captain had finished communicating with the Blue Star people, he immediately rushed forward to ask.

“Captain, what’s the situation? Are they preparing to resist or do they have other plans?”

At the mention of resistance, the Team Member’s eyes actually gleamed with excitement.

Seeing his subordinate so eager, the Captain couldn’t help but frown. He didn't indulge him at all, raising his hand and hitting him hard on the head.

“Fight, fight, fight! All you know is fighting all day. Pal, the Vice Captain, should have transferred you to the expeditionary force before.”

“Ahem, it’s just been too long since I’ve stretched my muscles...”

“This is Captain Li Yang’s home planet, so we cannot act so rashly. That Blue Star person just said he wanted us to go and communicate face-to-face, and also said he wasn’t the Decision Maker of this planet.”

“I think I heard the Captain mention that this planet has not yet achieved unification and is still divided into many countries.”

“Alright, in that case, let’s go and discuss it thoroughly with them. Since it’s divided into multiple countries, perhaps things will be easier. We can just teach a lesson to whoever disagrees, right? I’ll let you be at the forefront then.”

“Hehe, Captain is brilliant!”

After a brief exchange, the person who received the order to come and escort them also arrived before them.

“Hello, we are here to escort you to the meeting location. Please follow us.”

A Soldier approached them, saluted solemnly, and clearly stated his purpose.

However, when the Captain looked at the transport plane not far behind the Soldier, he couldn't help but frown, his expression slightly displeased.

“Never mind, just tell us the address coordinates.”

Seeing the Captain refuse his request, the Soldier looked troubled but couldn’t say much more. He could only go and ask his superior for instructions.

After getting permission from his superior, the Soldier then showed them the coordinates of the meeting location.

“The fleet has already scanned this planet, right?” the Captain turned his head and asked a Team Member.

“The scanning was completed as soon as we entered the planet’s range.”

“Intelligent AI, give me the situation at these coordinates.”

The Captain said to the Intelligent AI. As soon as he finished speaking, a real-time camera view of those coordinates immediately appeared before the Captain’s eyes.

The Captain observed carefully. Besides a building and the Soldiers standing guard outside, there was indeed nothing else special.

“Intelligent AI, initiate a transmission request to the fleet.”

“Beep beep... Request approved, transmitting now...”

Just as the Soldier was filled with doubt, not understanding why these aliens only wanted the coordinates—did they plan to fly there themselves?

A dazzling white light shot straight down from the sky, instantly enveloping the entire Squad, and this white light was emitted by the fleet parked in outer space.

After the white light disappeared, the entire Squad also vanished without a trace. Everyone present was shocked, looking at the alien spaceship that remained where the people had left, exchanging glances, at a loss.

As for taking away this alien civilization’s spaceship, they would never dare to act rashly unless they received explicit orders from their superiors.

At the same time, another white light was emitted from the fleet towards Blue Star, but this time the destination became the address of those coordinates.

The same white light flashed, and a 5-person Squad immediately appeared on the previously empty ground.

“Indeed, without a Star Controller, performing transmissions is quite troublesome.”

The Soldiers on guard were even more astonished. What was going on? How did 5 people in strange clothes suddenly appear?

Just as the guarding Soldiers were about to step forward to inquire, they received orders from their superior, so they quickly approached the Squad and saluted.

“Hello, I have received orders from my superior. I will lead you to the conference room.”

“Let’s go.”

After watching the Squad enter the building, the guarding Soldiers present began to whisper and discuss.

“Oh my, did I just see things? How did they suddenly appear?”

“I heard that the higher-ups have already made contact with an alien civilization. Do you think those were aliens just now?”

“Really? Even aliens have appeared now!”

...In the conference room, when the Captain saw that only the Great Elder of Rabbit Country was present, his expression beneath his mask clearly showed a hint of displeasure.

“Isn’t your planet divided into many countries? Why haven’t I seen anyone from other countries?”

Facing the alien visitor’s questioning, the Great Elder quickly replied.

“I am truly sorry, this indeed caught us by surprise. We didn’t expect you to arrive so quickly. After all, the speed of our planet’s existing transportation tools simply cannot compare to yours, so they are currently still on their way...”

The Great Elder calmly explained the reason, while also appropriately highlighting the advancement of the other party’s technology, clearly stating that it was because our technology was far inferior to theirs, which is why it was so slow.

After all, he had heard the reports from his subordinates; a single white light could transmit people anywhere. How could that be compared? ...Hearing the Great Elder’s explanation, the Captain’s slightly displeased expression gradually returned to normal.

After all, what he said made sense; slow speed was unavoidable, and the limitations of technology were clearly evident.

However, just waiting slowly like this wasn't a solution. After all, we come from an advanced civilization, so we must give them a show of force!
