101: Chapter 101: The Rose Opera House (Part Two)

Thinking about the possibility of the game, Qianye wanted to open the panel, but this time nothing appeared in front of her.

This reminded Qianye of that Black-Robed Figure who appeared in the game.

What happened?

Judging only from the current situation, Qianye could not guess what their intentions were.

Qianye held the introduction booklet about the Rose Opera House and slowly approached the NPC at the door, while pondering her own affairs.

Ah! Her house!

Her three-bedroom city apartment!

In an instant, Qianye was grinding her teeth in anger. Thinking of this, she looked at the NPC at the door, her eyes seemingly blazing with fire.

The NPC at the door pulled the opera house book from her hand and hurriedly moved away from her.

Fearing that if she didn't like the look of them in the next second, she might just strike them too.

With the NPC gone, only the players remained in the entire hall.

"Where did you enter the game from?" one of the men, who looked refined and polite, spoke up first.

"Could it be that you also came directly from the game..."

Hearing this, a woman wearing a black tracksuit next to him covered her mouth and exclaimed.

With this question, the people around exchanged information and realized they had all come directly to the next game after clearing the previous one.

"What's going on?"

"I was planning to rest for a while after this one ended."

"Entered the game again!"

"Heh, is there any point in saying all this?"

"It would be better to honestly look for clues."

A man standing nearby had listened for a long time, along with the woman's anxiety, and looked impatient.

They weren't new players anymore, so why be so pretentious? Determining clues earlier would be more beneficial to them.

Hearing this brother's words, Qianye nodded, very much in agreement.

The players dispersed to various places to search for clues.

"Rose blooms, charm unfolds, fragrance fills the courtyard~"

"Red flowers and green leaves, reflecting spring, as beautiful as a painting~"

"Wind rises, flowers dance, swaying gracefully, so many postures~"

"..."

Suddenly, the sound of opera came from all around, containing the tone of a woman.

The voice was melodious and lingering.

Qianye looked up and saw that there was a speaker in each of the four corners at the level of about two stories up.

The next instant, the singing suddenly disappeared, and then exclamations were heard.

"Ah!"

It was also mixed with the sound of things crashing and smashing.

"Don't!"

"Don't, let me go."

"I was wrong, I was wrong, I will definitely remember to always maintain elegance!"

"Ah..."

The screams continued, looping in the hall, becoming increasingly miserable.

The surrounding players listened, and some female players had their hair stand on end.

"Why does it feel like... this... voice is getting closer?"

"Ah..."

"Ah!"

The first one was the sound from the speakers, the next was the sound of one of the players.

Clearly, they were frightened.

"Why?"

"It was said to maintain elegance, what kind of behavior is this fussing about!"

"You deserve a beating!"

The next instant, that female player was directly slapped in the face.

The player who had exclaimed now tightly covered her mouth, gritted her teeth, dared not make any more sound, and her whole body went stiff.

At this moment, she clearly felt that behind her side, there was a figure, or perhaps those things...

The gaze staring at her was eerie and eager.

For a moment, the players also captured important information from the speakers.

Maintain elegance.

Instantly, the entire hall became silent, and Qianye felt a breath wandering between them.

Without the strange noises, the singing in the speakers started again, this time without the subsequent sounds.

"Very good, this time you have passed temporarily."

Finally, this sentence came from the speakers, and at the same time, applause came from upstairs.

"Congratulations, my Baby, you have passed the initial assessment."

"Next, please choose your identity cards."

The person speaking was none other than Mary. She stood on the second floor, her hands resting on the railing, her every move exuding elegance.

With a gentle wave of her hand, eight black cards appeared on the table on the first floor.

"This signifies your identity rank."

With one sentence, some players immediately moved, all wanting to choose the most powerful card.

The next instant, they were directly slapped in the face.

The person covered their face, hurriedly maintaining elegance.

Qianye observed calmly; one must maintain elegance in the hall.

Holding the red singer, Qianye gracefully came to the front.

The cards had almost all been chosen.

Qianye's hand and another hand simultaneously chose the same card.

Qianye turned her head to see the person, raised an eyebrow, and thought, fine, this person looks pleasant enough, I'll let you have it.

The person who chose the same card as her happened to be the man from before who had called the players pretentious.

Letting him have the card, there was only one card left on the table. Qianye had no choice, so she picked it up and looked at it.

Hmm?

There was nothing on it, just a pure black card.

Qianye silently put the card away.

"Mine shows red, what about you all?"

A female player with a slightly innocent look in her eyes revealed her card information on her own.

The players behind were clearly in a wait-and-see state, just looking at her without speaking.

"Oh~ this Baby is truly naive!"

"Remember what I said, the cards are related to your identity ranks!"

After Mary finished speaking, she straightened her body and clapped at them.

"Alright, you've been running around all day and must be tired. Next is rest time~"

"I wish you all a good sleep~"

After Mary finished speaking, she waved at Qianye and the others downstairs, then disappeared from the railing.

Some players were still looking up at the second floor, in the direction Mary had left.

The next instant, the sound of high heels came from behind them, clacking, sounding slightly heavy.

A woman wearing a black long dress, her face full of wrinkles, stared at them indifferently. Even so, this Old Woman displayed a very elegant side.

"Next, I will take you to choose your rooms."

After the woman finished speaking, she led them behind the staircase on the left.

Behind this, there was another door.

"Until the celebrity party is held, your rooms will be here."

"Of course, rooms can be exchanged."

The Old Woman pushed open the door, and it was pitch black inside, with nothing visible.

As they stepped through the door, a faint candlelight spread from the Old Woman's hand to the surroundings.

What came into view was a long corridor with rooms on both sides.

"You may choose any of the rooms in here."

"I want to remind you all, choosing some rooms might result in getting a friendly roommate."

Upon hearing "friendly", Qianye raised an eyebrow, understanding that it meant unfriendly and troublesome.

"Rooms of the same color can also be chosen, there is no conflict." The woman kindly added another reminder.

Qianye was not in a hurry to choose a room. She first walked from one end to the other, observing whether each room was different.

Upon closer inspection, Qianye discovered that each room had a card attached to it.

They were arranged in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple.

The rooms here were all like this.

After arranging seven rooms in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, black, white, and gray, a new round of sorting started.

Qianye did not rush to enter, simply observing the different colors they chose.

Soon, the rooms from the red card to the purple card had all been chosen.
