6: Chapter 6: Angel Campus (Part Six)
On the third floor, after seeing the classroom, the people who came up behind were stunned; Class Four—this was the identity information they had found about themselves.
How had they not thought of it?
At the classroom door, Qian Ye and the others were making quite a stir, and an NPC was standing on the podium inside.
Hearing the noise, he turned his head abruptly, his eyes fixed on them.
"You shouldn't be here!"
At the same time, the NPCs in the classroom wearing school uniforms all turned their heads together, making the players outside cry out in alarm.
Wearing school uniforms, they looked like students, but none of them had eyes; their sockets were hollow, and their faces were stained with blood as they stared fixedly at the outsiders at the door.
Those students stared at them, chanting: "Unqualified."
"Unqualified."
"Unqualified."
"Get out!"
"Get out!"
The teacher on the podium appeared at the door in the blink of an eye, his gaze sharp.
Seeing this, Qian Ye smiled slightly and stood up straight, looking completely well-behaved.
"Hello, Teacher. We are the new students."
"What students? I didn't receive any notification."
"You are not welcome here."
"Is that so?" Qian Ye nodded politely. The next second, a "bang" was heard, and the NPC was already lying on the ground, with bright red blood continuously flowing from between his eyebrows.
Blood was still dripping from the lowered hong ling umbrella.
Instantly, the area fell silent.
The players who came with her, except for Mo Lan and Tai Feng, all backed away a few steps in unison.
Inner thought: This person must be a lunatic.
The burly Tai Feng thought "holy crap" again; she started a fight over a single disagreement. He suspected that the big shot might not know about the existence of the death rules.
Death rules? If Qian Ye knew, she would only say that she was the rules.
Their attention was all on the NPC on the ground, but when they looked up, a dense crowd of students was closing in on them.
"Back off, back off, back off." They kept repeating this phrase, forcing them to retreat.
"What are you doing? What's going on!" A scolding voice appeared at the end of the corridor, and a middle-aged man with a crew cut was seen rushing over.
Hearing this voice, the group of students trembled all over; Qian Ye calmly observed these students.
They quickly returned to their seats, looking like model students.
Tai Feng looked at the man, his whole body on alert. The man walked up to them with a smile, "You must be the new students. It's all my fault for being too busy; I didn't have time to make arrangements."
"The first thing to do upon entering the school is a physical examination. Only after passing the physical can you officially start classes."
The middle-aged man wore a very obvious badge on his chest: Dean of Discipline.
On the next line, only a surname could be seen: Wei.
The words following it were blurred by mottled bloodstains.
Qian Ye glanced at the worn-out badge and twirled her little red umbrella, her tone sweet, "So it's the Dean of Discipline. Hello, hello."
"Thank you very much for remembering us despite your busy schedule."
Qian Ye's words caused the smile on the Dean of Discipline's face to freeze for a moment.
"Cough, let's go. I'll take you for your physical examination first." His voice carried a sense of impatience.
The group followed him, with Qian Ye trailing at the end. She didn't lift her feet to move yet, instead fixing her gaze on the NPC on the ground.
Tai Feng hadn't walked far before he noticed the big shot hadn't caught up. He turned around and saw her rummaging through the dead NPC.
...
At the Infirmary, the Dean of Discipline brought them there and left a sentence: "If the order of the physical examination is wrong, there will be a surprise."
Finally, he left with a weird smile.
Once the NPC left, the players felt the surrounding atmosphere become a bit clearer.
"What did that NPC mean just now?"
"What do you mean by physical examination order? Do we need sequence numbers for the physical?"
"Do you guys know what number you are?"
The players looked at each other, their eyes full of confusion.
"Number one, come in."
The door to the Infirmary opened. The person who came was someone Tai Feng was very familiar with. He pursed his dry lips; well, the one who came was the boyfriend the big shot spoke of.
Shi Mu watched as no one moved, a trace of excitement hidden in the depths of his eyes. He repeated, "Number one."
The late-arriving Qian Ye heard the voice and saw the person. Her eyes lit up, and she cheerfully pushed aside the annoying people in front of her and rushed to the man.
"Ah, Baby, we meet again."
"Seeing you today, hmm, you've become quite a bit more handsome again." As Qian Ye spoke, she pushed him into the Infirmary, and the door closed with a "bang," blocking the prying eyes outside.
Tai Feng's fierce face froze for a moment.
As expected of the big shot, one word: impressive.
For a moment, he could only feel envious; he'd better honestly look for clues.
Suddenly remembering that the big shot had stayed in the classroom for a while, he wondered if there were any clues. After hesitating for a moment, Tai Feng headed toward the teaching building.
Mo Lan watched him leave, gritted her teeth, and followed.
The other players waited at the door, wanting to see what was happening inside.
Inside the Infirmary, Shi Mu was backed into a corner. Qian Ye, looking like a boss, observed everything in the room.
Her gaze landed on the table, where there were only a few simple tools: a blood pressure monitor and a blood collection kit.
Opening a drawer, Qian Ye picked up a bottle of medicine—a small white bottle with no label on it.
"You actually dare to use such substandard products on students? Haven't any students complained about you yet?"
Hearing this, a moment of ferocity appeared on Shi Mu's face.
After looking around, Qian Ye turned her gaze back to Shi Mu, "Baby, why aren't you talking?"
"Isn't there a physical examination?"
"Num..." Before Shi Mu could finish, a fair hand holding a card was thrust in front of his eyes.
Seeing the bright red number one displayed on it, the distortion on Shi Mu's face flashed by.
"Baby, can we start now?" Qian Ye flipped the card in her hand.
Shi Mu pursed his lips tightly.
"Baby, if you don't talk, it will make me very sad." This sentence made Shi Mu smell danger.
With a stiff face, he said curtly, "Blood draw."
"Oh, Baby, I don't like this part."
With a half-smile, Qian Ye stepped forward and tilted his chin. Her fingertips gently slid down, finally stopping at his neck as she murmured, "You really do look fragile."
Shi Mu's entire back stiffened, and his throat moved slightly.
"Baby, did I pass the examination~?" That tone was as gentle as a lover's whisper.
"Excellent!"
"Good boy."
Qian Ye helped him straighten the collar of his white lab coat, her face full of satisfaction.
Shi Mu watched her turn around, his tongue pressing against the roof of his mouth, a blue eerie light flashing in his eyes.
Qian Ye had already touched the doorknob when she suddenly turned back; Shi Mu's smile froze on his lips.
"Hmm, my mistake. My boyfriend is working, so how can I go off and play by myself?"
"I should stay and work with you."
Shi Mu...
That's really not necessary.
At the desk, Qian Ye sat like a boss, twirling her hong ling umbrella with one hand. She tilted her head and signaled, "Call someone in."
The corners of Shi Mu's eyes twitched; he couldn't win the fight, so he could only submit.
He opened the door dejectedly and called out, "Number two."
The people outside didn't see Qian Ye come out, so they craned their necks to look inside, wanting to know what had happened, but unfortunately, he blocked their view completely.
Looking at the people outside, Shi Mu's face was ferocious as he repeated, "Number two."
Before the others could react, a huge dark shadow flashed by—it was Tai Feng.
He held a white card in his hand and waved it at Shi Mu.
"Come in."
Once Tai Feng entered and saw Qian Ye sitting like a boss, he paused.
Uh, this...
Qian Ye looked at his disheveled state, his arm wounded and his body covered in blood.
It seemed he had found it too.
Quite fast.
"Isn't there a physical examination? Hurry up."
Qian Ye poked Shi Mu with the tip of her umbrella, a malicious smile in her eyes.
