122: Chapter 122: The Rose Opera House (Twenty-Three)
Seeing that he didn't want to go into details, Monk didn't feel comfortable prying anymore.
After all, he wasn't a girl, and his curiosity wasn't that intense.
"Are we back in the first-floor lobby now?"
An Xuan shook his head.
After what they had just been through, he really couldn't be sure.
Hearing his words, Monk looked around again; no matter how he looked at it, this was the same lobby as before.
Over there, Qianye was holding Huang's arm, approaching the murals.
To be precise, he was being dragged over. Huang looked down at his wound, covered in blood, while the person in front of him acted as if she didn't see it at all.
As the two walked, blood dripped onto the floor.
An Xuan, following behind, watched the trail of blood and his mouth twitched slightly.
Monk patted An Xuan's shoulder, his expression complex. "Hey, brother, shouldn't he bandage that up?"
An Xuan glared at him. "You should ask the person involved."
"Also, let's hurry up and look for clues."
An Xuan looked at the surrounding environment. Although it was the same as the previous lobby, he felt that something was off.
He looked up and saw that there was a second floor as well.
An Xuan wanted to ask Mo Yu some questions, but when he turned around, he saw that she was already walking around.
She had already started looking for clues everywhere.
Seeing this, An Xuan followed closely behind.
While the other players were searching for clues, Qianye was smiling at Huang beside her.
She took him around to the murals throughout the lobby.
Every time they reached a spot, Qianye would bring Huang to touch the beauties depicted on the murals.
"Baby~"
"Can you tell what this is?"
Qianye pointed at the mural, her eyes filled with deep meaning. The mural still contained all sorts of pictures of beauties.
Huang stared at the murals, his eyes narrowing slightly, a flash of malice crossing his face.
"I, I'm not very familiar with this place either."
Qianye smiled slightly, looking at the wound on his abdomen with deep meaning.
"Oh..."
"Is that so~"
The next second, the hong ling umbrella appeared in her hand again.
She attacked him.
Huang instinctively dodged and flashed to the side.
"You..."
"Oh, Baby, so you've been hiding your true strength~"
"Wow, I like it, hehe."
"Come on, Baby, let's play~"
After speaking, Qianye accelerated her movements, the hong ling umbrella emitting a faint glow as she aimed it at Huang.
Huang stared at her, then suddenly mimicked her smirk. His tone carried a hint of helpless indulgence. "You call me Baby with your mouth, but your hands are quite ruthless."
Qianye didn't give him any time to catch his breath and kept attacking.
Huang dodged while keeping an eye on the surrounding murals.
Under his gaze, the murals slowly began to emit a black mist.
It was silent.
The mist drifted out slowly, quietly permeating the entire lobby.
Huang stared at the mist behind Qianye, his lips curving with malice.
"Hehe, Baby, you really aren't being obedient~"
Qianye grinned, and the next instant, the hong ling umbrella in her hand shot out, heading straight for him.
Caught off guard, Huang was stabbed directly.
...
He looked down at the wound on his abdomen. He had secretly healed it a moment ago, but he hadn't expected her to stab the exact same spot again.
Huang's face became ferocious; in an instant, his exquisite face twisted. Looking at the black mist behind Qianye, a flash of excitement crossed his eyes.
Qianye didn't miss the expression on his face and raised an eyebrow slightly.
No matter how she looked at that expression, he was definitely up to no good.
"Ah, I, I can't move."
Liu Ran lifted her foot, only to suddenly discover that she couldn't move.
Looking down, she saw a layer of black climbing up from her feet.
"What is this thing!"
"Help, help me!"
The other players heard the exclamation and saw Liu Ran with her eyes wide open, standing there like a statue, motionless.
"Careful, there's something here." Hao Ming was closest to Liu Ran and could clearly see a layer of black mist spreading over her body.
In an instant, everyone activated their defenses.
In their line of sight, they couldn't see anything, so they could only adopt defensive postures.
Over on Qianye's side, she continued her movements.
After a long while, the smile on Huang's lips slowly stiffened, and his eyes held a look of madness as he stared at her.
Why?
It's impossible, how can she still move?
Why is she still alive?
"This is impossible?"
"I clearly saw the black mist entangle you."
At this moment, Huang was still searching for that black mist, only to realize that there wasn't a trace of black around Qianye.
Looking closely, there was a faint red halo around her body.
This halo protected her entire being.
The little flower in her hand was swaying continuously.
That light red protective circle was, of course, created by it.
"Black mist?"
Qianye tilted her head, staring at him with a puzzled expression.
"What are you trying to do to me?"
"Kill me?"
"Tsk tsk tsk, you really are heartless!"
Qianye muttered to herself and started clapping at Huang.
She lifted her hand gently, and there, rotating in her palm, was a miniature ball of black mist.
Seeing her completely unharmed, Huang's expression was terrible.
Qianye raised her hand to eye level. "Hmm, so it's just this little thing."
"Hehe, finally caught it~" Qianye stared at Huang with curved eyes.
It wasn't in vain that she had been acting for so long.
"You..."
At this moment, "Huang's" expression changed drastically.
The hong ling umbrella stabbed at him again, but it instantly pierced through empty air; "Huang" had turned into a ball of black mist.
"Hehehe..."
"I didn't expect to be discovered."
"Hehehe..."
"Come on, come on, join us!"
That black mist transformed into young maidens, dancing in mid-air, enticing Qianye to join them.
Seeing this, Qianye conjured red threads in her hand and attacked the black mist.
The surrounding players also fell into chaos.
"Damn it, Liu Ran, what is wrong with you!"
"Why are you attacking me."
It was Monk's voice; he was seen dodging everywhere, being chased by Liu Ran.
Monk glared at the Liu Ran in front of him. It wasn't that he didn't want to strike back; he was just afraid of hurting her.
But she kept pursuing him relentlessly, determined to kill him.
"If you keep pushing me like this, I'm going to fight back."
Monk threatened the Liu Ran in front of him.
But at this moment, Monk didn't notice the layer of black mist swirling around Liu Ran.
It was extremely faint, and he hadn't noticed it.
The others remained in defensive postures.
An Xuan and Mo Yu stared in Qianye's direction, watching helplessly as she fought with her boyfriend, only for her boyfriend to eventually turn into a ball of black mist.
Finally, they watched as that black mist transformed into graceful maidens, dancing in the lobby.
They didn't know when it started, but suddenly, melodious singing echoed around them, complementing their dance.
"Wow, so, so beautiful."
Monk's eyes were filled with admiration, staring obsessively at the graceful figures in mid-air.
"Hehehe..."
"Come on~"
"Join us..."
"I am waiting for you..."
Suddenly, a "thump, thump, thump" sound broke the balance, and the melodious music froze for a moment.
"Wh-what happened?"
"Holy crap!"
Monk opened his eyes and saw Liu Ran right in front of him; she was holding a knife, about to hack at his head.
Reacting quickly, he dodged, looking at Liu Ran with lingering fear.
