132: Chapter 132: The Train That Never Stops (Part 1)

Qianye opened her eyes and looked around, seeing that a few other people were also glancing about.

This time, it was truly easy to tell at a glance who the players were.

Among this group, only she and the other seven players had the appearance of normal humans.

Surrounding them were all sorts of creatures, lining up and gazing into the darkness before them.

Qianye narrowed her eyes. It was late at night, and before her, a ghostly train quietly wove through the darkness, finally coming to a stop in front of them.

At this moment, the announcement over the train station's loudspeaker continued: "The train is arriving soon. Please have your tickets ready and prepare for ticket inspection to board."

"Tickets?"

Qianye opened her hand, and in the center of her palm lay a tiny object, like a miniature book.

On it were written two characters: "prologue."

"This is the ticket?"

Qianye opened it, and instantly, countless fragments of memory flooded in.

A moment later, Qianye stared strangely at the object in her hand that was called a ticket.

"prologue?"

"Interesting."

Qianye curled her lips and stuffed it into her pocket.

Some players had already figured out what it meant, while others were still confused.

Regardless, the train had arrived. First, those strange creatures boarded, followed by Qianye and the other players.

Qianye glanced inside from the outside. The entire interior of the train was empty and deep; at a glance, there was nothing special about it.

Yet, after those strange creatures boarded, their entire state suddenly changed. Some struggled, some howled wildly, and others became dazed, all of them looking like wandering spirits, drifting back and forth in the carriage.

Next, it was Qianye's turn. She curled her lips, watching the scene inside, and smiled strangely. "Interesting."

The moment she stepped into the carriage, her surroundings were no longer the train. It was an ancient, small alleyway surrounded by mottled earthen walls covered in creeping vines. In the far left corner, there was a Little Girl in green clothes, huddled and crouching as if she were about to merge with the surrounding vines.

Qianye stood motionless, watching this scene, her brows raised slightly.

Looking at this scene, she had some memories; that moment was part of the memories that had suddenly intruded upon her at the station.

As Qianye thought further, her gaze suddenly sharpened. With a moment of realization, she seemed to understand some things.

Suddenly, the scene before Qianye slowly dissipated. Looking closely, she was now standing in the train's corridor. In front of her appeared a Train Conductor, smiling eerily and staring at Qianye with ill intent.

"Do you still remember what wrongdoings you committed during your childhood?"

Upon hearing this, Qianye raised an eyebrow. She gradually sensed that the extra memories she had were slowly disappearing. So, this was what it was waiting for.

Seeing that Qianye did not answer for a long time, the Train Conductor's smile deepened.

"Do you still remember what wrongdoings you committed during your childhood?"

He asked again, his voice clearly filled with excitement this time.

Qianye curled her lips, imitating his demeanor, and appeared even more excited than him. "Big brother, do you remember things from your own childhood?"

"Do you remember what you did as a child?"

The Train Conductor was clearly stunned. No passenger had ever dared to ask him such a question before; for a moment, he was completely dumbfounded.

"You..." The excitement on the Train Conductor's face was replaced by ferocity, and the way he looked at Qianye made it seem as if he wanted to devour her the next second.

Qianye tilted her head, staring at him with an innocent expression. "See? Even you can't remember, big brother."

"You look so grown up, yet you can't remember. How can you expect me, a little child, to remember?"

Her clear, limpid eyes, like those of an innocent little deer, blinked at him.

The Train Conductor glared at her fiercely and prepared to leave.

"Passengers, please hold on and be seated. The train is preparing to depart."

He left this sentence behind and was about to walk away when Qianye called out to him.

"Can you wait a moment~"

Ignoring his murderous gaze, Qianye smiled. "Excuse me, do you have a flower pot here?"

"No." The Train Conductor's face was taut.

Qianye smiled slightly.

"Is that so~"

"Hee hee~"

With her laughter, the next second, the Train Conductor felt a sharp pain in his abdomen. He looked down at his stomach in shock to see a red umbrella thrusting right into it.

Meeting Qianye's gaze, she gave a wicked smile and continued her action, pushing it further inside.

The stinging pain became more pronounced, and the Train Conductor's face twisted.

When his hand touched the umbrella in his abdomen, he recoiled violently. He felt as if he had touched a block of ice in winter—chillingly cold.

"Passenger, you are challenging the dignity of the Train Conductor."

Qianye blinked innocently. "I'm wrongly accused! Look, I'm not even touching it."

Qianye let go, and the umbrella remained stuck in the Train Conductor's abdomen, clinging to it entirely.

The Train Conductor clearly felt the blood within him draining away.

There was already a pool of blood on the floor.

Looking at Qianye's fearless attitude, sinister light shone in his eyes.

Looking at Qianye again, he took a deep breath. "May I ask what service this passenger requires?"

Qianye clapped her hands. "I just need a flower pot~"

"Ah, what a pity there isn't one."

After saying this, Qianye prepared to turn and leave.

"Yes, there is."

The Train Conductor gritted his teeth. "The passenger's needs are the direction of our efforts."

"It's in the carriage ahead; please follow me."

The Train Conductor's face was calm now, as if the one who had gone mad just a moment ago wasn't him.

Qianye smiled slightly. "I'll just wait for you right here."

After saying this, she waved her hand and pointed at his abdomen, full of threats.

Seeing this, the Train Conductor's expression changed drastically. He glared at her fiercely, not expecting that she wouldn't fall for his trap.

There was no other way. The pain in his abdomen was becoming more and more intense, so he had no choice but to quickly find a flower pot for her.

A moment later,

Qianye held the small flower pot in her hands, her face full of satisfaction.

"Hmm, this looks not bad."

"Not bad at all; they even knew to prepare the soil." Qianye curled her lips. The soil looked quite fresh.

The Train Conductor forced a smile.

Not far away, a cluster of flowers was thrown on the ground.

Service complete, Qianye withdrew the red singer. The Train Conductor glared at her and left unwillingly.

Qianye carefully turned the soil.

"Hee hee, Master, we've arrived in a new game world again~"

"Be quiet; you're a bit noisy."

Qianye poked the soil under her hands vigorously.

"Hmph, this Master won't lower himself to your level."

"Heh, why do I feel like you are expanding day by day?"

"Hmph, how is that possible? I'm just growing, growing!"

"Alright, enough nonsense."

Putting away the red singer, Qianye held the flower pot, finally having time to take a good look at the surrounding environment.

In this carriage, besides her, there were two other players who were currently keeping their eyes tightly shut, "unconscious," and leaning against the window.

Besides the players, there were also a few NPCs, the monsters seen earlier on the station platform, and they were all sitting quietly in their seats.

There was nothing unusual to be seen around them.
