132: Weihe returned to Blue Star

"Good, Chen Jiaojiao, well fought, well run! Go back and tell His Majesty that Jacob is a complete scoundrel, a cowardly turncoat!"

A soldier thrust his saber into the ground, gripped the hilt, and struggled to lift his head. Summoning every ounce of his strength, his neck and face flushed crimson as he shouted at the top of his lungs.

No sooner had he finished shouting than his head was severed by Jacob. Seeing this, the remaining soldiers also began to cry out one after another, all urging Chen Jiaojiao to leave quickly and carry the news back.

Listening to the sounds coming from behind her, along with the continuous screams, Chen Jiaojiao's clothes were already soaked with bean-sized tears as she ran forward even faster.

Watching this scene from within the base, Wei He did not order his troops to pursue Chen Jiaojiao. Seeing that this game had reached its end and having lost interest in continuing, he turned and left the base, returning to his Lords Mansion in Kela City to rest.

Lying on his bed, which was over three meters wide, and covered with three Nine-Difficulty Purple-Winged Tiger pelts, Wei He's eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Feeling exceptionally exhausted today, he soon fell asleep.

When he opened his eyes again, he was astonished to find himself back on Blue Star, lying on his own shabby little bed, with his favorite yellow magazine resting at the head of the bed. His mother was impatiently shouting from the living room: "Wei He, how many times have I called you? The sun is already high, it's almost noon! Get up and eat! You don't help with the cooking, just wait to eat. Get up now!"

If it were in the past, hearing his mother use his full name would have certainly made Wei He jump up in fear. But now, hearing her call his name, tears inexplicably streamed down his face, and he muttered to himself: "Could it all be just a dream? It felt so real, as if I had truly gone to another world and lived there for so long!"

Wei He immediately got up and put on his clothes, deciding not to dwell on those thoughts. If he didn't get up, his mother would come in with a rolling pin and force him out of bed.

Arriving in the living room, Wei He saw that dumplings had already been served, surrounded by his favorite braised pork knuckle, red-braised pork, and other dishes. The television was playing his favorite drama, and the room's decor was exactly as he remembered it. He became even more certain that he had only had a dream.

"Eat slowly, no one is going to steal it from you. Oh, that's right, after you finish eating, remember to ask Su Qinglei out to see a movie. What a wonderful girl she is; I don't know what kind of good fortune you've accumulated, you brat!" His mother said with a grin as she washed the flour off her hands. Seeing the smile on her face, Wei He knew she was genuinely happy.

"Qinglei?" Wei He frowned, the hand holding his chopsticks paused, and he muttered with eyes full of confusion.

"It's your classmate, Su Qinglei. Aren't you two university classmates at the same school?" His mother finished washing her hands, sat down at the table, and seeing her silly son's dazed expression, she picked up her chopsticks and explained with a chuckle.

"Oh, I see, Mom!" Wei He mechanically put a dumpling into his mouth, but his mind was even more confused. I remember getting drunk and seeing Su Qinglei. Could I have confessed to her then? Did I have a blackout?

With a head full of questions, Wei He still took the money his mother gave him and walked out the door. The calendar on the door read June 29th, 2000. Outside, the weather was scorching, just like every summer vacation, with heatwaves filling the air.

He rode his bicycle, carrying Su Qinglei, all the way to the cinema. While watching the movie, Su Qinglei was completely engrossed, laughing one moment and crying the next. When she cried, she leaned on Wei He's shoulder. As Wei He inhaled the scent of her hair, he found himself wishing that time would stop at this moment forever.

After the movie, they walked along the street. Because of the hot weather, Su Qinglei was wearing a white T-shirt and denim shorts, revealing her snow-white thighs. Walking on the street, Wei He found the sight extremely pleasing to the eye.

When the moon climbed into the sky, the two of them walked out of a restaurant. Just as Wei He was about to send Su Qinglei home, she tucked the hair beside her face behind her ear with her fair fingers and spoke first: "I've been running around all day and I'm too lazy to move. Let's find a place to crash for the night~"

"Ah!" Wei He's pupils dilated sharply, his fingers gripped his clothes tightly, and he subconsciously looked at the hotel nearby.

"Here? This place is fine. Let's go!" Su Qinglei followed Wei He's gaze, looked at the hotel next to them, then naturally grabbed Wei He's hand and led him toward the hotel entrance, speaking in an extremely sweet and calm tone.

Waiting in the room for Su Qinglei to finish showering, Wei He sat on the bed, his legs shaking uncontrollably. Although Wei He was already in university, in his previous student life, he had never had any intimate contact with a girl like others had. At this moment, thinking about what was about to happen, even the hand holding the water cup began to tremble.

"Hmm, all right, you go wash up!" Su Qinglei walked out wrapped in a white bath towel, wearing soft slippers. The towel was wrapped around her chest, revealing her snow-white shoulders and neck. Seeing this, Wei He felt a wave of thirst and drank a few more sips of water.

"Although I don't know what you are, or where you came from, and even less about what's going on with me or how I returned to Blue Star, I am still very grateful to you. I had a very happy day today!" Wei He's trembling hands gradually calmed down. He placed the water cup on the table and looked directly at Su Qinglei with a very firm gaze.

"What are you talking about? Wei He, are you too tired today? Why are you talking nonsense? The sun was indeed huge today, I was hot to death!" Su Qinglei said softly, caring for Wei He. It felt as if a soft feather had gently brushed across Wei He's mind, and for a moment, he couldn't bear to leave.

"You know what I'm talking about. All of this is indeed fatally tempting to me, but Su Qinglei wouldn't be with me so quickly, especially on the day before I confessed!" Wei He stood up slowly, rubbing his fingers together, and continued to explain: "My school starts summer vacation on July 1st, but I went to confess to Su Qinglei on the day before vacation, which was June 30th. Although I don't know how you managed this, you were too careless. If it weren't for this tiny flaw on the calendar, I would have really been fooled by you!"

"What are you saying? What happened to the calendar? Did you forget to tear it off? Today really is July 1st!" Su Qinglei looked at Wei He with her large, watery eyes, blinking continuously. Her gaze seemed half-drunk, giving people a somewhat hazy and wonderful feeling.

"If I had really returned to Blue Star, my Supernatural Ability should no longer exist, right? What do you say? Do you want me to try it now?" Wei He stared intently at the beautiful woman in front of him who looked exactly like Su Qinglei. The boiling water in the kettle nearby was bubbling, just like Wei He's current mood, which was filled with conflict and pain.

"Since you don't like being with me, I'll leave, okay? You'll be happy if I leave, right? Hmph, don't come looking for me again in the future, you idiot!" Su Qinglei, wrapped in her bath towel, picked up her clothes and shoes, opened the door, and walked out gently, leaving only the scent of her hair in the air.

Wei He stood there blankly. When she actually turned and left, he realized that his breathing had become rapid and chaotic with her departure, and a trace of loss he hadn't even noticed himself showed in his eyes.
