185: Chapter 185 Red Horned Ox

At the entrance of the Crown Princes Mansion, only two Minotaur Beastmen stood. Unlike the other Minotaur Beastmen, the horns of these two were a fiery red.

"Haha, brothers, charge into the Crown Princes Mansion and kill Spike to avenge our big brother! If Spike hadn't deceived him, he wouldn't have died. Once Spike is dead, everything in his mansion will be ours!" Marcus shouted loudly, spear in hand.

"Kill! Avenge the Great General!" The Orc Soldiers picked up their weapons and swarmed through the gap in the building Marcus had smashed, rushing toward the entrance of the Crown Princes Mansion.

"Hmph, overestimating yourselves. You're seeking death!" the two Minotaur Beastmen with fiery red horns said in unison. They immediately began to strike out at the oncoming crowd.

"Ah! Ah! Aaaah!" As soon as the crowd approached the Crown Princes Mansion, they were sent flying by the two Minotaur Beastmen. Those behind them didn't even know what was happening; they only heard the screams of those in front as they were launched into the air, crashing heavily back into the crowd. Those hit coughed up blood, gasping for breath as they struggled to push off the bodies on top of them—bodies that had long since stopped breathing.

"Red-Horned Cattle, why aren't you at the Northern Camp? What are you doing here?" Marcus saw how valiant the two at the gate were and suddenly remembered. There were dozens of Red-Horned Cattle in the Northern Camp, all of them Rank 8 magical beasts with immense strength. He hadn't expected them to appear at the Crown Princes Mansion.

"Hmph. Tonight, someone came to the Northern Camp with a Tiger Tally, claiming there was an emergency and that we needed to support the capital. We thought the Demon Race was attacking. We never expected you four Four Ma Brothers to become rebels. How disappointing!" the two Red-Horned Cattle shouted at Marcus while easily dealing with the Orc Soldiers he had brought.

Swords and sabers struck their bodies without leaving a single mark, only to be easily deflected. They grabbed the muscular Orc Soldiers and, with a slight exertion of force, snapped their bones before punching them away. By the time they were launched into the air, their skulls were already shattered.

Wei He was also closely monitoring the battle. Seeing this, his heart was filled with complex emotions. The base state of these two Red-Horned Cattle was actually more impressive than his own Golden Body Protection. If not for the red alert system, relying solely on his Metal Element Ability, he wouldn't even be able to survive, let alone unify the world.

While Wei He was lost in thought, the entrance to the Crown Princes Mansion was already piled high with the corpses of Orc Soldiers. More Orc Soldiers stepped over the bodies of their comrades to continue the charge, only to be thrown back out again.

Marcus stayed in the back, ordering his men to keep charging. He knew that as a Rank 5 magical beast, he stood no chance against Rank 8 magical beasts like the Red-Horned Cattle. However, enough ants could kill an elephant. He had brought over 20,000 Orc Soldiers; he could exhaust these two Red-Horned Cattle to death.

Gradually, although the two Red-Horned Cattle were incredibly brave, their stamina began to flag as they killed more and more people. Seeing that they were about to reach their limit, Marcus's round eyes crinkled into slits as he laughed and shouted, "Brothers, get them! They're almost finished! Take them down, and all the treasures in the Crown Princes Mansion will be ours!"

Hearing this, the Orc Soldiers were greatly encouraged. Their battle cries shook the heavens as they charged at the two Red-Horned Cattle with even more vigor.

Just as the two Red-Horned Cattle were about to buckle, all the Orc Soldiers garrisoned in the Black Fortress swarmed in from all directions, clashing with Marcus's army. An intense slaughter broke out between the two sides.

At that moment, First Prince Spike quietly stood atop the roof of his mansion, his eyes fixed on Marcus below. His wolf ears were pricked high, and his voice was full of disdain as he said, "Marcus, you dare to rebel? I sent you to deal with Wei He, yet you lead troops to attack the capital and even reach my front gate. You four brothers have taken quite a lot of benefits from me!"

"Hmph, Spike! If you hadn't deceived my big brother into dealing with Wei He, we four brothers wouldn't have ended up like this! You despicable villain, I'm coming for you today!" Marcus's teeth ground together with a clicking sound, and the large rhinoceros horn on his face wobbled slightly with his movements.

"Hmph. I paid, you did the work—it was just a mutual exchange. You didn't have the ability to take down Wei He, yet you blame me instead? How utterly ridiculous!" First Prince Spike snorted, his long tongue licking the corner of his mouth as he spoke coldly.

"Regardless, there's no turning back now. Spike, you die today! Brothers, kill!" Marcus acted like a madman, waving his spear and leading the Orc Soldiers in a charge toward the entrance of the Crown Princes Mansion.

"Is this man insane? A Rank 5 magical beast actually thinks he can kill a prince who is a Rank 8 magical beast? How foolish!" First Prince Spike scratched his scalp, looking at Marcus's desperate struggle with suspicion and falling into thought. He had no way of knowing that Marcus was now Wei He's puppet. Everything Marcus did was merely to deplete the strength of the Magical Beast Empire and create favorable conditions for Wei He to seize control.

Marcus finally reached the two Red-Horned Cattle. By now, they had killed countless Orc Soldiers, and their bodies were stained red with the blood of their enemies.

Marcus thrust his spear at one of the Red-Horned Cattle. Seeing the spear tip before him, the Red-Horned Cattle didn't even dodge, taking the strike head-on with his body. Although he was exhausted, the power of a Rank 8 magical beast was not something a Rank 5 beast like Marcus could contend with.

Marcus watched in shock as his spear failed to pierce the Red-Horned Cattle's defense. Instead, the Red-Horned Cattle grabbed the spearhead and snapped it off with a single tug before throwing it back at him. Fortunately, Marcus's rhinoceros hide was also very tough; the spearhead struck him and simply bounced off.

Marcus rushed forward and engaged in hand-to-hand combat with the two Red-Horned Cattle. The three bovines fought back and forth, and for a moment, no winner could be determined.

Standing on the roof, First Prince Spike looked at Marcus with disdain and said softly, "If he hadn't used his soldiers' lives to drain most of the Red-Horned Cattle's strength just now, how could a mere Rank 5 magical beast like him ever hope to fight them?"

Just as Spike finished speaking, the three combatants were sent flying simultaneously, crashing heavily to the ground. Although the two Red-Horned Cattle were only the size of average humans, their strength was immense. Together, they had thrown the massive Marcus, while Marcus, taking advantage of their exhaustion, had struck back. All three were launched away.

Lying on the ground, Marcus shouted, "Kill them now! Their fiery red horns are a type of heavenly materials and earthly treasures; they are incredibly helpful for increasing the level of a Supernatural Ability!"
