90: The mighty Henry

Just as Charlie was feeling astonished, this Demon Soldier also noticed Charlie looking at him. He was none other than the Demon King Lord hidden within the Demon Soldier ranks—Henry.

"Heh heh heh! You little brat, you should feel honored to have such an opportunity to become a member of the Demon Race. Why are you still hesitating? You really don't know what's good for you!" Henry said with a look of disdain, then leaped into the air.

The tornado in the air struck his body with loud bangs, and shattered armor fragments were swept up into the air along with the tornado.

Henry ignored all this and flew directly to Neme's side, loudly declaring, "The Magic Empire really has no one left, sending a little girl over to act as cannon fodder. Ah! Hahahahaha! I must say, this little girl is quite pretty, hahahaha!"

Seeing Neme's clear and bright big eyes, shining like stars, her lips as soft as rose petals, and her fair skin, Henry couldn't help but adore her.

Neme saw that the wind blades of the tornado couldn't even harm a single hair on Henry's head. Her eyes widened in disbelief—this was the first time she had encountered such a formidable opponent.

"Who are you? You're not just a lowly Demon Soldier. What exactly are you?" Neme questioned with high alertness.

"Hahahaha, your voice is quite pleasant too, little girl. I really like you, hahahaha!" Henry didn't answer Neme's question but instead praised her voice.

"You... you vile scoundrel, go to hell!" To Neme's ears, this praise was full of teasing intent.

"God of Wind~ Use your endless power to tear open the cracks in space, freezing eternal time in an instant.—Air Barrier!" A white Magic Array flashed brightly, emitting one white vacuum wind ball after another, swiftly floating toward Henry.

"Hahahahaha, you're really interesting, little girl. Then I'll play with you!" As soon as Henry finished speaking, the white vacuum wind balls enveloped him. The moment Henry entered the wind balls, he realized their danger—there wasn't a trace of oxygen inside, and wind blades surrounded him. An ordinary person would surely be done for here.

Henry's hands, covered in black scales, waved lightly, and two streams of black Demonic Energy broke through the white wind balls, attacking Neme. Henry finally breathed fresh air again.

Seeing the situation turn dire, Neme turned to flee, but it was too late. The two streams of black Demonic Energy struck one after another—the first shattered Neme's Magic Shield, and the second hit Neme directly in the back. Neme spat out a mouthful of blood and immediately fell unconscious, plummeting toward the ground.

Seeing Neme falling toward the ground, Henry immediately flew forward and caught her. Holding the fragrant and soft Neme in his arms, Henry was grinning from ear to ear.

"Hahahahaha, little brat, eliminate them, and I'll promote you when you return. Heh heh heh heh heh!" After saying this to Charlie, Henry prepared to fly away with Neme.

But then he saw Huang Yichen kick Charlie flying. After all, Huang Yichen was a World-Shocking Level Ability User, while Charlie was only an Intermediate Magician. Huang Yichen had a level advantage.

After succeeding with the kick, Huang Yichen flew forward again. Charlie had just stood up when Huang Yichen kicked him seventy or eighty more times in succession. By now, Charlie lay on the ground, barely breathing and motionless, not only with green blood in his mouth and on his body but also with many scales on his chest shattered and fallen off, stained with a bit of green blood.

"Hmph, truly useless. But indeed, he's becoming one of my Demon Race! Ahahahaha!" Henry saw that the blood flowing from Charlie's body was actually green, no longer the red blood of a human. This indicated that he would soon fully become a member of the Demon Race, even in appearance.

Even while holding Neme, Henry could still quickly fly to Huang Yichen's front. Without a word, he kicked Huang Yichen flying with just one foot. Huang Yichen spat out blood; although his health bar hadn't dropped much, the Demon Race's black energy had entered Huang Yichen's body, continuously causing damage.

Wei He saw Huang Yichen's health bar continuously dropping and quickly ordered the Bozi Youning to go forward and rescue him. Dozens of Bozi Youning escorted Huang Yichen away from the battlefield.

Fortunately, the health bar stopped just before turning red and began slowly increasing. It was likely the Three-Star Red Alert Soldier's Self-Healing Ability contending with the Demon Race's Demonic Energy, and eventually, the Demonic Energy gradually disappeared.

"Ah, all of you deserve to die, every single one of you! Go to hell! Go to hell!" Rutgar paid no attention to what was happening here, shouting to vent his emotions. Relying on his tall stature, he charged back and forth through the sea of Demon Soldiers with his twin hammers, hammering away any Demon Soldier in his path.

The twin hammers were almost turning green, covered in Demon Soldiers' blood. But the hair on Rutgar's hands was exceptionally tough; instead of becoming slippery, the hammers were gripped even tighter in his hands.

"Hmph, another big dumb oaf! The Demon Race really has no one capable! I have to deal with this kind of character myself!" Henry complained with great dissatisfaction. Although he held a fragrant and soft beauty in his arms, he had no time to enjoy her, so he reluctantly set Neme down first.

"Hey, big dumb oaf, come at me if you dare! Come on!" Henry pointed at Rutgar, using a gesture as if teasing a dog.

"Hmph, you're looking for death, kid. Reincarnate into a better life next time, and don't end up in a trash country like the Demon Race again!" Rutgar cursed while raising his twin hammers and charging toward Henry. A few Demon Soldiers blocked his way, and he smashed one's chest with a hammer, crushing it so that the front and back were tightly pressed together, ribs flying out of the body. Green blood splattered on Rutgar's face, making him look even more terrifying.

"Ah!" Rutgar finally reached Henry's front, raising one big hammer and smashing it downward. Henry was only about 1.8 meters tall, while Rutgar, in his berserk state, stood over 5 meters tall.

So facing Henry, Rutgar was like a normal adult human facing a child. The big hammer smashed toward Henry's head, but with a "bang," the scene Rutgar imagined—Henry's skull shattering—didn't happen. Instead, his big hammer shattered into several pieces, falling to the ground, leaving only a stick in his hand.

Rutgar looked at this scene in disbelief, then raised the other big hammer and continued smashing it toward Henry's head. The result was obvious—just like before, the hammer shattered into pieces, and Rutgar was left with another stick in his hand.

"This is impossible, absolutely impossible!" Rutgar's eyes turned red as he raised the two sticks and struck at Henry, but both sticks were shattered by Henry's body.

"Finished? Any other moves? If not, it's my turn to perform! Hahahaha!" Henry laughed arrogantly, clenching both fists and raising them above his head. Under Rutgar's gaze, he extended two middle fingers.

"Ah, I'll kill you!" Rutgar flew into a rage, as if greatly insulted, raising both fists and smashing them toward Henry. After just a couple of punches, he felt unbearable pain in his hands, so he switched to stomping on Henry's head with his feet.
