91: Henry, who was invincible
After stomping a few times, his foot was also sore from the hard ground. Rutgar held his foot, hopping and jumping in pain, clutching his hand one moment and his foot the next, making Henry laugh heartily: "You're a big oaf. It'd be hilarious to take you back as a guard dog, hahahaha!"
After saying this, Henry leaped into the air, flying up and kicking Rutgar in the chest. The over-five-meter-tall giant was sent flying, landing on the ground and unable to get up for a long time.
"Hahahaha, go find me an iron chain and tie him up!" Henry pointed at Rutgar, who had returned to normal size on the ground, and said to the demon soldier beside him.
"Yes!" Although the demon soldier didn't know who this person was, seeing his formidable combat power, the soldier knew the battle was as good as won, so he scurried off to find the iron chain.
The main generals of the three major factions had all been defeated. The remaining officers fought desperately, but none were a match for Henry, resulting in deaths and injuries all around.
Henry darted left and right through the crowd, leaving a trail of blood wherever he went. These elites, considered top-tier in various countries, had their defenses easily broken by Henry. He casually plucked off their heads, tossed them at his feet, and crushed them as effortlessly as stepping on a watermelon.
Bullets, magic, and various cold weapons took turns striking Henry, raising clouds of dust. It was clear he hadn't bathed in days, but these attacks had no effect on him.
The forces of the Magic Empire and the Magical Beast Empire were the first to flee in disarray. The Bozi Youning also began to retreat under Wei He's orders.
In the Dark Forest, over a dozen multifunctional infantry vehicles waited. As long as Henry pursued them here, they could ensure he never returned. Wei He thought confidently.
Henry led the demons in pursuit of the fleeing soldiers all the way to the edge of the Dark Forest. He slaughtered the alliance soldiers who couldn't escape in time, took some prisoners, and brought them back to the Demons Lair, without entering the Dark Forest again.
Wei He watched the orderly retreat of the demon soldiers, gritting his teeth in frustration. Seeing Henry pick up Neme again, his heart suddenly felt as if pierced by needles.
Huang Yichen, who had returned from the Dark Forest to the Kodo Beast Hills, was slowly recovering but remained extremely weak. Wei He emerged from the anti-air tracked vehicle to look at him and decided to rescue Neme himself. If only Xie Yanwen and Ravich were here now—why had he sent them back?
There was only one option left: use the chronosphere. Although the chronosphere was immensely powerful, figuring out how to use it posed a major challenge.
If Henry were directly targeted with the chronosphere, the Superweapon's immense power could certainly obliterate him, but it would also kill General Neme in his arms.
Using the chronosphere to teleport Ravich here was essentially pointless. Even Huang Yichen couldn't withstand a single kick from Henry; Ravich would just be cannon fodder.
Wei He's mind was a whirl of thoughts, feeling as if something was tugging at his heart, leaving him unsettled. He ordered the multifunctional infantry vehicles from the Dark Forest to return and positioned his anti-air tracked vehicle in the center.
He boarded the anti-air tracked vehicle with the Spy and Yuri, surrounded by multifunctional infantry vehicles. Wei He planned to use the chronosphere to teleport himself in front of Henry and personally rescue Neme. Although the Chrono Legionnaire and Radiation Engineer had weaknesses against aerial attacks, they were invincible against ground enemies. With no other options left, he had to try this desperate measure.
In the Demons Lair, Henry watched the demon soldiers diligently cleaning up the battlefield and couldn't help but laugh heartily: "Excellent! Demon warriors should be this vibrant and energetic, hahahaha!"
"Send him to the Abyssal Demon immediately. Once he recovers, have him continue leading the army to attack the Magical Beast Empire. I'm just here for an inspection; leave this place to him!" Henry looked at Charlie lying on the stretcher and said to the demon soldier beside him. Then, he carried Neme to an open area and pulled out a small bottle from his pocket, opening it to release a strange fragrance.
"Oh, right, remember to send that dog to me later. Don't forget! Ah!" Henry pointed at Rutgar lying on the ground in the distance.
"Yes! We'll complete the mission without fail!" the demon soldier said respectfully. As soon as his voice faded, a dark shadow was seen rapidly approaching from afar, as if something had blocked out the sun.
The demon soldier looked up and saw a massive Dark Magic Dragon circling in the sky. Its body was incredibly robust, covered in hard scales, with a row of spikes running down its back from head to tail. Its mouth was full of sharp, curved teeth, and it had large bat-like wings that flapped, creating strong gusts of wind that made people struggle to stand. Its long tail ended with a barbed hook, useful for both attacking and maintaining balance during flight.
The Dark Magic Dragon circled for a while before choosing to land on a clearing above a ground fissure. When its feet touched the ground, the surrounding earth trembled noticeably. From below, it appeared about ninety stories tall; an average adult demon soldier wasn't even as big as its toe.
"Hey!" Henry shouted, lightly tapping his toes to leap into the air. Carrying Neme, he flew onto the back of the Dark Magic Dragon. The dragon flapped its wings and soared into the sky, the gusts from its wings stirring up dust and sand, causing the demon soldiers to curse and dodge.
"This pitch-black lizard isn't staying here. Where is it going?" Wei He was about to order the system to use the chronosphere, but seeing Henry constantly moving, he muttered angrily. The black demon with its scaly armor did indeed resemble a large lizard.
Henry rode the Dark Magic Dragon all the way until evening, finally arriving at Dragons Maw Mountain. The gentle breeze on the mountain relaxed Henry completely.
Under Wei He's orders, the Rocket Trooper followed Henry here, maintaining a certain distance to avoid detection.
The sun slowly sank behind the mountains, dyeing the horizon orange-red. Looking down at the houses below, they appeared as small as building blocks, while the Dark Magic Dragon was nearly as tall as the mountain.
On Dragons Maw Mountain, there was a Giant Dragon Waterfall over a hundred meters wide. Beside the waterfall was a cave inaccessible to ordinary people, guarded by the Dark Magic Dragon and feared for Henry's strength, as no one had ever left alive.
Henry leaped down from the Dark Magic Dragon. Neme in his arms seemed chilled by the cool breeze, shivering slightly. Her beautiful face was pale from her injuries, but Henry gazed at her with infatuation, a slight smile on his lips as he whispered softly: "Little treasure, it won't be cold once we go inside, ah!"
Henry arrived at the cave entrance beside the Giant Dragon Waterfall. Above the cave were inscribed five large characters—Alashi Cave. The cave entrance didn't look very large, just wide enough for two people to enter side by side, with damp vines hanging around it.
Henry walked into the cave, his feet stepping on slippery gravel. The interior was much more spacious than the entrance, with stalactites hanging from the ceiling here and there—some sharp like awls, others round like large buns. Numerous stalagmites protruded from the ground.
