94: Henry, who was tricked

Because the distance between Henry and the Dark Magic Dragon was constantly increasing, and Wei He had not deployed a large number of Chrono Legionnaires, instead using only a single multifunctional infantry vehicle—capable of isolating spatial energy fluctuations—carrying a Chrono Legionnaire to attack, the spatial energy fluctuations were not that significant. Henry would not have noticed them without careful perception, especially since his attention was now completely occupied.

The residents at the foot of the mountain watched the thick smoke billowing from the peak, pacing back and forth anxiously. They didn't understand why the Dark Magic Dragon, which had always been quiet before, had suddenly become so violent. Not only was it setting the mountain on fire, but it was also flailing about, causing their houses to shake and sway.

“I don't know what kind of trouble it's making now. The entire dragon is covered in blue-white ripples and isn't moving at all. Who knows what game it's playing?” an old farmer with dark skin and a straw hat said, pointing at the distant Dark Magic Dragon while grumbling about his misfortunes.

“Wow, that's amazing! It's turning transparent!” a little girl sitting on an adult's shoulders said in a childish voice.

“It really is turning transparent! Look, look! It’s actually turning transparent!” Everyone was drawn in, shouting one after another as they watched the Dark Magic Dragon gradually become translucent.

Under everyone's gaze, the gradually transparent Dark Magic Dragon vanished from the spot with a 'shua,' as if it had never existed there at all.

“Ah, it's gone? Where did it go? It won't suddenly appear in our village, will it?” The little girl was so frightened by the scene that she began to cry.

“How could it just disappear into thin air? This is too incredible!” a young lad of seventeen or eighteen said, his eyes wide with shock.

“Uh... uh... I heard my grandfather say that this should be Space Magic. But my grandfather said that this kind of Space Magic was lost long ago!” a white-bearded Old Man said tremulously; he looked to be in his seventies or eighties.

“Aie, this Old Man is having another episode. There's no such thing as Space Magic! He's really getting muddled in his old age!” several women said, pointing at the Old Man... While the villagers at the foot of the mountain were in a state of chaos, Wei He, on the road on the other side, watched as the Dark Magic Dragon vanished from the spot. In high spirits, he ordered the troops to continue their advance.

Henry was pursuing the multifunctional infantry vehicle in the air. Every time he was about to get close, it would turn in another direction, which made him feel even more strange. Just what on earth was this thing?

Finally, the multifunctional infantry vehicle drove into the village at the foot of the mountain and came to a stop. Henry flew overhead and watched as a woman stepped out of the vehicle.

This person was barely clothed, her skin snow-white; it was clearly Neme, who had just been in the cave. After Neme got out of the vehicle, she ran straight into a nearby thatched hut. Henry landed directly on top of the hut and, with a light kick, opened a hole in the roof before jumping inside.

“Ah, who are you? Why did you break my roof? You have to pay me money!” a white-bearded Old Man said, pointing at Henry.

“Where is the woman who just came in? Where is she?” Henry said coldly, ignoring the Old Man's accusations.

“What woman? It's just me, a little Old Man, here. If you want a woman, go to the city, go find one at a brothel! Pay for my roof! My perfectly good roof now has such a big hole because of you!” the Old Man said tremulously.

“She must have run out through here!” Henry said softly, looking at the open wooden door on the other side.

Just as he was about to walk out, he was blocked by the Old Man, who panted and said, “If you don't give me money, don't think about leaving! I, this little Old Man, have lived a whole life and have never been afraid of anyone!”

Speechless, Henry took out a gold bean from his person, placed it in the Old Man's hand, and said softly, “If I weren't in a good mood today, I would have thrown you into the sea to feed the fish long ago. Humph!”

Henry walked out through the wooden door on the other side and found the other villagers standing in the street. He walked over and identified them one by one, weaving through the women.

“What are you looking at? You pervert! Humph, hubby, look at him!” a thin woman with a face full of pockmarks said, hugging her husband.

“Exactly, what are you looking at? Go home and look at your mother! Humph, lecher!” another village woman weighing over 200 pounds said fiercely, pointing at Henry. Henry rolled his eyes, utterly speechless, thinking to himself that even a lecher wouldn't come looking for you.

The husband of the frail woman stepped forward and pointed at Henry's nose, saying, “What are you looking at? If you look again, I'll beat you!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Henry grabbed his palm. With a slight application of force, the man began to howl in pain.

“Ah, it hurts, hurts, hurts! Let go, let go! If you really like her, just take her, I don't want her anymore, okay?!” The man knelt down in pain, pleading desperately for mercy.

“What are you saying, you piece of trash? You'd give your own wife to someone else? I'll beat you to death, you useless coward!” The pockmarked woman, who had been begging Henry to let go, slapped the man across the face upon hearing his words.

“Enough, everyone be quiet! Listen up: gather all the women in your village for me. If even one is missing, I will kill every last one of you. Do you hear me?” Henry shouted at the villagers on the street, raising his voice.

“How can you be like this? Not only do you hit people, but you also want women. Go to the city to find women! We are all honest and decent rural women, not like those sluts in the city!” the villagers said one by one, pointing at Henry.

Hearing these words, Henry became impatient. He applied force to the man's hand, and with a 'crack' and a scream, the man's palm was crushed. Blood flowed down the man's arm and into his armpit.

“Go find them, now!” Henry roared in anger. The villagers scrambled toward their houses. A white-bearded Old Man walked tremulously, looking very much like the Old Man in the wooden hut just now.

“So there's even a twin, humph!” Henry looked at the Old Man and smiled coldly. He didn't know that the Old Man in the wooden hut just now had been a Spy in disguise, and even the Neme who had just stepped out of the multifunctional infantry vehicle and run into the hut was also a Spy in disguise.

In a short while, all the men, women, young, and old of the village arrived before Henry.

“Great Master, everyone in our village is here. Who are you looking for?” the white-bearded Old Man said to Henry.

“Are they all here? Why didn't your brother come? Oh, forget it, have all the women step forward!” Henry's eyes gleamed as he spoke lecherously.

“Uh, this Old Man has no brother. I have always been alone!” the Old Man said strangely.

“Hmm?” Henry quickly scanned the line of women, then immediately rushed toward the wooden hut from before.

“No, no, what's going on?” Henry rushed out of the wooden hut and back to where the multifunctional infantry vehicle had been parked, only to find that the vehicle had long since disappeared.

“There was definitely something wrong with that Old Man in the hut, but how could they look so similar?” Henry muttered to himself.

“Great Master, what are you doing? We're all here! Who are you looking for?” The pockmarked woman from before had changed into an apricot-yellow long dress and was looking at Henry with seductive eyes.

“Humph! All of you, get lost! You've all wasted my time. If you don't leave now, I'll kill you all!” Henry roared, his eyes full of fury.

“Seriously, is he sick?”

“How can he be like this? He's the one who wanted women, and he's the one telling us to leave now that we're here. I think he really is sick!”

“Maybe he's just... incapable! Hehehehe.”

...A group of women said, covering their mouths and laughing as they walked away.
