232: Eastern Europe Base

Inside the cockpit of the aircraft, the atmosphere was somewhat oppressive. Lisa silently piloted the aircraft, while Tian Ming sat quietly in the co-pilot's seat, gazing out at the scenery.

Finally, Lisa broke the silence: “I won’t take you back to the family base, do you understand?”

“It doesn’t matter. The Alliance has already sent out reconnaissance teams. Nine Superpower User squads will not need much time to ascertain your hidden bases around the globe,” Tian Ming said indifferently.

Lisa fell silent. She felt very passive, and this passivity made her extremely uncomfortable. Now, she was bound to Tian Ming’s side, unable to even persuade her father.

Lisa changed direction, choosing another flight path. Although the Apocalypse made navigation imprecise, it was not a big problem for the Lawrence Family’s aircraft. The aircraft itself did not use satellite navigation, but rather navigated using terrain matching and machine vision analysis.

Therefore, most of the time, the aircraft was on autopilot. Lisa prepared to go to the Eastern Europe base to contact her father again through the communication system, urging him not to fight Tian Ming anymore.

Finally, the aircraft arrived at the Eastern Europe base. Lisa stopped the aircraft, took a deep breath, and turned to Tian Ming, saying, “This base was built by the official Eastern Europe government, and one-third of it belongs to our family.”

Tian Ming smiled faintly and said, “You specifically mentioned that, are you afraid I’ll go on a killing spree inside?”

“Yes, but I know I can’t stop you,” Lisa said, taking out a simultaneous interpretation earphone and handing it to Tian Ming.

Tian Ming took the earphone, put it on his ear, and then said, “My English is actually pretty good; I can understand it.”

“They don’t speak entirely in English,” Lisa said.

Because there was no prior notification, shortly after the two got off the aircraft, many heavily armed personnel approached and surrounded them.

These armed personnel had tense expressions, their gun muzzles pointed directly at Tian Ming and Lisa. These well-trained soldiers maintained a high degree of vigilance towards unidentified intruders.

“Who are you?” a person who looked like a squad leader asked in English with a strong Eastern Europe accent.

Lisa immediately stepped forward: “We are from the Lawrence Family. My name is Lisa.”

The squad leader did not relax his vigilance but scrutinized them with suspicious eyes: “Lawrence Family? We haven’t received any notification of visitors from the Lawrence Family.”

After saying that, the squad leader pressed the communicator on his shoulder. Soon after, a middle-aged man in military uniform walked out of the base. Upon seeing Lisa, a hint of surprise appeared on his face: “Miss Lisa, I didn’t expect it to really be you.”

This middle-aged man was the Commander of the Eastern Europe base. He and Lisa had met a few times at some social gatherings of the family. He did not show hostility like the soldiers but displayed a hint of respect.

“Commander, I would like to use the base’s internal communication network to contact my father…”

The Commander nodded slightly and courteously said, “Of course, Miss Lisa, it is my honor to assist you.”

A hint of disdain appeared at the corner of Tian Ming’s mouth, and he muttered to himself, “Your honor, I’m going to throw up my overnight meal.” The simultaneous interpretation device on his ear directly translated Tian Ming’s words.

The scene immediately became extremely quiet. Tian Ming’s mockery instantly made the Commander’s face sink.

“And this is?” The Commander walked over, looking at Tian Ming with a sharp glint in his eyes.

Before Lisa could answer, Tian Ming spoke: “I am her enemy!”

The Commander’s expression became a bit strange. For a moment, his thoughts were chaotic. But he quickly reacted, reaching for his pistol and pointing it at Tian Ming.

“Miss Lisa, don’t worry, I will protect your safety.” The Commander looked righteous, seemingly wanting to show off in front of Lisa.

Tian Ming found this kind of person the most annoying. He frowned, and the Commander’s hand lightened as his weapon instantly turned into powder.

“You!” The Commander’s face changed drastically. He hadn’t expected his weapon to be destroyed before he even fired.

“Commander, let’s go in first. Don’t waste time.”

The Commander glanced at Tian Ming and said, “He cannot enter. He has Superpowers. I cannot allow an unstable factor to appear inside the base.”

“Damn, this is so long-winded.” Tian Ming raised his hand, and with a whoosh, the Commander was embedded in the concrete ground, with only his head exposed.

Lisa quickly said, “You, didn’t you promise me not to harm the people in the base?”

Tian Ming sneered and said, “So long-winded, speaking gibberish, it’s annoying me to death. I didn’t kill him, didn’t I leave his head exposed so he could breathe?”

Tian Ming lifted his leg and walked towards the entrance of the base. His consciousness enveloped his control range, entering defensive mode. Even if he didn’t kill a single person, he could still break into the base, and no one could stop him.

Lisa looked at Tian Ming’s back and sighed deeply. Though helpless, she still followed closely behind Tian Ming.

For these foreigners, Tian Ming would not employ the so-called righteous path. Only through dominance could he civilize barbarians.

The surrounding soldiers were stunned by the scene before them. They gripped their guns tightly but dared not fire easily.

Tian Ming walked step by step towards the base entrance, and the surrounding soldiers involuntarily made way for him. Their eyes were filled with awe and unease as they looked at Tian Ming, even abandoning any attempt to resist.

Tian Ming arrived at the main gate of the base, coldly looking at the thick steel gate before him. This gate was clearly meticulously designed and manufactured; the thick steel plates were also covered with protective cladding. This heavy cladding should be used to defend against certain shoulder-fired heavy firepower.

This base wasn’t very good. The decline of the West was not without reason. Money and talent were controlled by capital manipulated by a few large families; it would be strange if it didn’t decline.

Tian Ming looked at the thick steel gate. He slightly raised his hand and waved it in the air towards the gate. In an instant, the surrounding air seemed to twist, creating ripples.

“Screech—” A teeth-grinding tearing sound rang out, and the thick steel gate was torn open by Tian Ming in the air as if it were a piece of paper. The moment the gate was torn open, it revealed the complex mechanical structures and circuits inside, as well as the panicked guards.

Tian Ming sneered disdainfully and stepped into the base. The soldiers who had been surrounding him involuntarily retreated a few steps, clearing a path. Their eyes were filled with shock and fear as they looked at Tian Ming.
