73: Come, check your body.

Qiu Qian followed Tian Ming back to his room. Outside, it was below ten degrees Celsius, but Tian Ming's room was over twenty degrees, very comfortable and pleasant.

It was Qiu Qian's first time in the Boss's room, and she looked around with a hint of excitement on her face.

"Boss, your room is really comfortable," Qiu Qian said, taking off her winter coat. She was wearing a sweater underneath, and the room was immediately filled with a sour smell.

Resources at the Shelter were limited, and the hot water supply was not enough for everyone to live a normal life. With temperatures below ten degrees Celsius, most people did not have the conditions to bathe.

The last time Qiu Qian had bathed was seven or eight days ago. She had only wiped herself down briefly and then put her old clothes back on.

This pungent smell naturally emanated from Qiu Qian.

Tian Ming frowned, sniffed, and glanced at Qiu Qian: "How long has it been since you bathed? You've fermented."

Qiu Qian couldn't smell herself, so she was a bit flustered and stammered, "Boss, I, I wiped myself down, but the river is frozen, and I don't have a change of clothes, so I've been wearing the same set."

"I know, it's not your fault," Tian Ming knew that the Shelter's resources were limited and couldn't meet everyone's needs. For a girl like Qiu Qian, bathing was an extreme luxury.

Tian Ming sat down and said, "Come here, let me check your body." As soon as he said that, Tian Ming felt a bit perverted.

However, Tian Ming was curious why Qiu Qian had such a strong sense of dependence on him. Could it be that the virus infection had formed a second consciousness within her body?

When Qiu Qian heard Tian Ming's words, a blush appeared on her face. She obediently walked to Tian Ming's side and sat down. Then, she subconsciously began to take off her clothes.

"You don't need to take off your clothes," Tian Ming said, his face darkening, quickly stopping her.

Qiu Qian froze for a moment, the blush on her cheeks deepening. She awkwardly stopped her actions.

"Boss, I just thought it would make it easier for you to examine, to see more clearly, right?"

Tian Ming coughed lightly and said seriously, "Sit still."

Qiu Qian nodded and relaxed her body as Tian Ming requested, placing her hands on her knees.

Tian Ming extended a hand and placed it on her shoulder, beginning to check her physical condition. The zombie virus in her body had disappeared, and her physical state was much better than he had imagined.

Suddenly, Qiu Qian's body trembled, and she opened her eyes. Her gaze changed, as if she had become a different person.

"Master, why didn't you come looking for me? Is it because of my current body?"

Qiu Qian's eyes held a hint of resentment, but her voice became soft and alluring, as if she had transformed into someone else.

Tian Ming was startled and asked calmly, "You are not Qiu Qian?"

A strange smile curled at the corner of Qiu Qian's mouth, and she replied, "Master, you created me, have you forgotten?"

"Created?" The questions in Tian Ming's mind grew larger. What creation? He wasn't Qiu Qian's father.

Qiu Qian pounced on him, embracing Tian Ming, and somewhat impatiently tugged at Tian Ming's pants.

Watching Qiu Qian's actions, Tian Ming's face darkened. A thought flashed through his mind: his judgment seemed correct; there really was another consciousness within Qiu Qian's body.

Qiu Qian's eyes held only Tian Ming, filled with desire. Tian Ming's mind moved, and the surrounding air instantly expanded, pushing Qiu Qian away.

Qiu Qian's face showed dissatisfaction, and the desire in her eyes grew even stronger. She stood up, ready to pounce on Tian Ming again.

"Master, do you no longer like me? I was once a part of you. I just want to return." Qiu Qian's tone was full of grievance, but the desire in her eyes did not diminish at all.

Tian Ming felt a headache. He knew that the consciousness within Qiu Qian had awakened, but he didn't know how to deal with the situation.

"What do you mean? Explain clearly, what exactly are you?" Tian Ming asked coldly.

A hint of grievance and disappointment flashed in Qiu Qian's eyes. She shook her head and said, "Master, what happened to you? Why have you become such a low-level creature? Is it because of the fragmentation that your consciousness disappeared? Master, wake up quickly! How can such a low-level creature possess such supreme power as yours?"

Qiu Qian's consciousness, or rather, Qiu Qian's second consciousness, established a connection with Tian Ming's consciousness. Tian Ming felt a powerful surge of consciousness constantly flowing into him. Many images began to appear in his mind, as if they were constantly replaying.

Countless pieces of information flooded into his mind, and his thoughts began to fall into chaos. The feeling was like being trapped in a small space, surrounded by noise and confusion.

"Master, wake up quickly, if you don't, your consciousness will perish." Qiu Qian's voice called out in Tian Ming's ear, and Tian Ming only felt a massive headache. Countless images kept emerging.

Clusters of interstellar dust rotated, compressed, and exploded, forming brilliant stars. Time seemed to be on fast-forward. Star clusters in the universe were constantly born and constantly perished, and new worlds constantly cycled through birth and destruction.

All of this, in Tian Ming's eyes, was from a third-person perspective. He saw himself wandering through the universe, saw himself interacting with various alien beings, and saw himself establishing a vast cosmic empire. But that "self" was not him.

Through the long years, Tian Ming could feel that self's aversion to time. It was the god of this universe, dominating all the rules of this universe, but it could not dominate the passage of time.

A feeling of aversion spread through its heart. It transformed into a Red Crystal Core, enveloped itself within a wandering planet, and fell into a deep sleep. Until this Red Crystal Core struck an unlucky person, and the Red Crystal Core's power fused with every atom that made up this unlucky person. And this unlucky person was Tian Ming.

That Red Crystal Core had also regained consciousness before, which was when Tian Ming had blacked out. But the Red Crystal Core directly shut down its own consciousness. The apocalypse in human eyes was just a game in the eyes of a god. And the so-called zombie virus was the source of evolution under the god's influence.

Zombification was merely expelling the old consciousness and generating a new one, like Iron Dude and Dr. Qiao. But there were exceptions, like Qiu Qian, whose body contained two consciousnesses.

Suddenly, a light emanated from Tian Ming's chest, enveloping his figure. Qiu Qian was startled. She tried to approach Tian Ming but was blocked by an invisible force.

The light gradually dissipated, and Tian Ming slowly opened his eyes. The confusion in them had vanished, replaced by clarity and depth. He looked at Qiu Qian, thoughtfully. Damn it, a creator god capable of dominating the rules of the universe lived in his body.

Qiu Qian paused, looking at Tian Ming with some confusion: "Boss, are you... are you alright?"

"You're back?" Tian Ming asked.

Qiu Qian's second consciousness called him Master, while her true consciousness called him Boss. Tian Ming also discovered that although the connection between Qiu Qian's second consciousness and himself had awakened some fragmented memories of the creator god, more importantly, his control range had greatly increased.

Ten meters, he had reached a spatial control radius of ten meters.
