468: The Dilemma of Crystal Energy Civilization

Galaxy 1854, a vast galaxy known as one of the primordial galaxies, contains an astonishing 365 billion stars.

Among them, massive stars account for more than 70%, which makes the galaxy full of vitality and energy.

However, this also means that the galactic center has become a dangerous area, with astronomical phenomena such as black holes, neutron stars, and supernova explosions occurring constantly, and various high-energy rays filling it.

The interior of the galaxy can be described as a mess, with crab nebulae emitting various colored halos everywhere.

These nebulae are the remnants left behind after the explosion of massive stars, and they bear witness to the galaxy's past glory and destruction.

In this unknown and dangerous star field, the Crystal Energy Civilization has been able to stand firm and develop highly advanced technology.

As one of the early civilizations in the universe, the Crystal Energy Civilization emerged as early as the golden age of Galaxy 1845.

They mastered crystal energy technology that allowed them to avoid extinction, capable of materializing highly compressed energy.

This technology enabled them to survive in harsh cosmic environments and continuously expand their sphere of influence.

However, the Crystal Energy Civilization also faces some insurmountable limitations, such as being unable to break free from the control of carriers and unable to break through the constraints of the universe's mass-energy conservation.

These problems have always plagued them, preventing them from truly reaching a higher level of technology.

In Galaxy 1854, besides the Crystal Energy Civilization, there is also a powerful God-level Civilization hidden.

They share the same origin as the Crystal Energy Civilization and have comparable technological levels, but there are deep contradictions and hatred between the two.

The origin of this conflict is no longer traceable, but over long years, the hostile relationship between the two civilizations escalated, eventually evolving into a full-scale war.

They engaged in fierce battles in every corner of the galaxy; whether it was star systems, planets, or asteroid belts, all became their battlegrounds.

This war between God-level Civilizations was undoubtedly a disaster for the entire Galaxy 1854.

Stars were destroyed, planets were torn apart, and the entire galaxy was in chaos.

High-energy rays, black holes, neutron stars, and other astronomical phenomena frequently appeared, making this star field even more dangerous and unpredictable.

The Crystal Energy Civilization and the other God-level Civilization displayed astonishing strength and technology in the war.

They each mastered unique energy weapons and defense systems, bringing the war into a stalemate.

However, no matter how fiercely both sides fought, they could not completely annihilate each other.

Bai Yiming sat up, shook his head, and recalled the transformation process he had just undergone; he couldn't help but feel a lingering fear.

He looked around and found himself in a huge space.

This was the core mothership of the Crystal Energy Civilization—a colossal interstellar vessel with an astonishing diameter of ten thousand kilometers.

Inside the mothership, the light was soft and not dazzling, and everything appeared orderly.

The walls were made of a translucent crystal material, which was not only sturdy and durable but also capable of self-repairing minor damages.

Through these crystal walls, Bai Yiming could clearly see the scene of the outer starry sky, as if the entire universe unfolded beneath his feet.

The central area of the mothership was a huge energy core, constantly flickering with dazzling light, providing continuous power for the entire mothership.

This energy core was created with the unique technology of the Crystal Energy Civilization; it could highly compress and materialize energy from the universe, thereby providing powerful propulsion and defense for the mothership.

In various areas of the mothership, members of the Crystal Energy Civilization were busy working.

They wore specialized clothing and operated the various functions of the mothership through advanced technological equipment.

Polayev, the Chief Observer of the Crystal Energy Civilization, walked over; at this moment, he still simulated a human appearance.

“You're awake!”

Bai Yiming nodded, trying to make himself more alert.

He looked at Polayev, the Chief Observer of the Crystal Energy Civilization, who had already contacted him through consciousness, but he was in pain and hadn't heard what the alien said, only that he would help him, so he directly agreed.

But he never expected that upon waking, he would find himself in an unfamiliar environment.

“Polayev, why am I here?”

Bai Yiming asked, his voice echoing somewhat emptily within the mothership.

Polayev smiled slightly, his smile revealing a hint of fatigue and helplessness: “You have been chosen by us to become our warrior.”

Upon hearing Polayev's words, Bai Yiming couldn't help but feel a shock.

“What's going on?” Bai Yiming was a bit confused; he was undergoing a good transformation, so how did it turn out like this?

“Mr. Bai Yiming, your body has been blessed by the Yuanchu God.

Humans, by accident, transformed you into a Star River Grade Divine Body.

Such a body is even stronger than our Crystal Energy people's bodies.

We need you as our warrior to help us fight against that God-level Civilization.”

“Wait, why should I help you?”

“Your consciousness suffered painful trauma during the transformation; we will heal your trauma, but the premise is that you must help us win the war.

Mr. Bai Yiming, you can view this as a transaction.”

“What God's blessing? When did I receive a God's blessing?”

Polayev waved his hand, and a scene appeared before Bai Yiming's eyes.

It was the scene when he and Xiao Xiao were restoring the ecology of Blue Star.

Xiao Xiao's body emitted a soft light, and a wisp of that light connected to Bai Yiming.

Polayev said: “This is the God's blessing.

This girl is the daughter of the Yuanchu God.

She shared the power of rules with you, which allowed you to endure that cruel transformation.

But if you continue to stay in the human world, and your consciousness trauma is not repaired, you will destroy the entire human civilization.”

Bai Yiming looked at the scene before him, unable to help but be shocked.

He recalled his time with Xiao Xiao on Blue Star.

“Polayev, is consciousness trauma very terrifying?” Bai Yiming was pondering; this alien was probably trying to fool him.

Polayev nodded slightly, and a scene directly appeared before Bai Yiming's eyes.

In the scene, the figure was none other than Bai Yiming; he wore black armor and was frantically absorbing the energy of a dead star in front of a white dwarf.

His eyes glowed blood-red, and the energy ripples erupting from his body formed invisible shockwaves.

Apparently, that was Bai Yiming in an unconscious state, who had been teleported to the very center of the enemy's fleet.

In interstellar space, those massive warships, under Bai Yiming's frantic assault, had their energy shields constantly developing alarming cracks.

Bai Yiming was stunned; was he, was he that strong?

Hitting an energy shield with his fists, and even making cracks?
