275: A different way of thinking to create a clone

In his dream, Tian Ming dreamt that he was confined to an island, along with a large number of other survivors.

All humans were being herded by zombies, who were flying planes and wielding advanced weapons, actively hunting.

Tian Ming was incredibly enraged; these zombies dared to treat humans like this, yet he was powerless.

Within the large buildings of the captivity center, countless survivors became objects of trade, with even auctions taking place.

The entire island had been commercialized.

And the commodities being bought and sold were these very survivors.

Suddenly, the dream shattered, and Tian Ming woke up with a start from his sleep.

He sat on the edge of the bed, breathing heavily, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

Tian Ming was still shaken, as if this dream foretold the future.

Physical strength has limited utility, but intellectual strength can create infinite possibilities.

In the age of dinosaurs, such powerful creatures were destroyed, yet humans, through the power of technology, can ascend to the heavens and descend into the earth.

This is the difference: when collective knowledge accumulates to a certain extent, an entire civilization experiences explosive growth.

Zombies, possessing consciousness and intelligence, will also accumulate knowledge and even learn human technology.

Moreover, the number of zombies is sufficiently large, and their bodies are generally stronger than humans; once humanity is completely controlled, there will be no chance of recovery.

If zombies gain a stable source of brain-nourishing food, their intelligence will also surpass humans.

When a disaster befalls the entire group, even Tian Ming would find it difficult to change the outcome.

Tian Ming took a deep breath, calming himself.

He knew he couldn't waste any more time; he stood up, walked out of the tent, and his avatar stood outside, silent.

Tian Ming raised his hand, and the avatar disintegrated and vanished.

This was just a robot that consumed his energy, so Tian Ming decided to change his approach; since they were all robots, a large one consumed more energy, so he would make a small one.

Tian Ming used tungsten metal atoms to construct an avatar directly from the nanometer scale, like building blocks.

It was like an Ant-Man, but much smaller than Ant-Man.

The entire avatar was only a few hundred nanometers, roughly the size of a virus.

Tian Ming connected his consciousness and activated it, immediately making a new discovery.

The avatar's energy consumption was almost negligible; indeed, by changing his approach, the original problem no longer existed.

This thing was like a Nanometer Avatar.

Tian Ming began to replicate exponentially: 1 became 2, 2 became 4, 4 became 8.

In less than half a day, a dark, amorphous mass appeared before him.

Tian Ming began to connect his consciousness to these nanometer-level avatars simultaneously.

Clearly, the perspective of these extremely small avatars was proportionally scaled down.

Each perspective was like a pixel, greatly reducing the impact on Tian Ming.

Soon, all these tiny nanometer-level avatars were activated.

“Haha, as expected, I am so clever.” Tian Ming was quite pleased at this moment; with just a thought, the dark mass in front of him deformed, and countless Nanometer Avatars combined to form a large avatar identical to Tian Ming.

This avatar was completely different from the one created before; the previous avatar was more like a robot, while the one now created was more like a biological entity.

Tian Ming felt this large avatar; its strength and tactile sensation were incomparable to the previous avatar, yet its energy consumption was much lower.

Tian Ming looked at the large avatar composed of Nanometer Avatars before him, filled with joy and a sense of accomplishment.

He knew he had found a completely new direction.

This Nanometer Avatar not only consumed little energy but also had excellent adaptability and plasticity.

They could self-repair and replicate like biological organisms, which gave them stronger survival capabilities.

Just like the logical circuits of a computer, each small avatar only needs to remember a few states, and by changing these states, it can achieve various functions.

At the same time, because they are directly constructed from atomic-level matter, they can change shape and size at will, which gives them higher flexibility and combat power.

Tian Ming began to try controlling this Nanometer Avatar in combat.

He found that his consciousness could easily connect with the avatar and control its actions.

The avatar's movements were agile and swift, and its strength was sufficient to contend with zombies.

“Excellent!” Tian Ming exclaimed excitedly.

The avatar directly differentiated and attached itself to Tian Ming's body, forming a new protective armor over his original instructor uniform.

This armor seemed to have a life of its own.

When Tian Ming moved at high speed, it also maintained the same high-speed state, perfectly.

Very good, now, on to the next city, to see if these nanometer-level avatars can bring him new combat power enhancements.

Tian Ming slowly ascended, disappearing from his original spot, and headed towards the next city.

During the flight, Tian Ming kept thinking about how to better utilize these Nanometer Avatars.

As soon as he arrived at the next city, he heard booming explosions from below.

Thick smoke billowed over the city.

Tian Ming immediately lowered his altitude and flew towards the direction of the explosions.

Below, a dense horde of corpses was besieging a tall building.

Tian Ming focused his gaze; the zombies surged like a tide, numerous and densely packed, a sight that made one's scalp tingle.

The people inside the building, dressed in alliance combat gear and armed with automatic firearms, were on passive defense.

These should be base personnel from other Alliance areas, collecting supplies in the city, and for some reason, they had enraged the zombie horde.

The battle on the ground was exceptionally fierce, but the number of zombies was simply too great, almost endless.

The personnel inside the building were already showing signs of fatigue.

As one team member, exhausted, stumbled and fell from the edge of the high-rise, the zombies instantly swarmed him.

Just as the two sides were locked in intense combat, a cloud of black smoke drifted through the air.

These “smokes” adhered to the zombies, causing them to shriek as their bodies were engulfed by the black smoke.

In a moment, they were dismembered into fragments.

Tian Ming manipulated the Nanometer Avatars, not even needing to lift a finger; under the attack of these Nanometer Avatars, large swathes of zombies were directly dismembered by the Nanometer Avatars, turning into scattered fragments on the ground.

The battle situation on the ground below the building instantly changed due to Tian Ming's intervention; the zombies were swiftly defeated by the Nanometer Avatars.

The people inside the building were greatly astonished at this sight.

“Reporting to Captain, the zombies have retreated,” a team member inside the building shouted into his headset.

“Captain, someone is helping us—oh, no, it should be a black smoke helping us.”

The captain's voice came through the communication channel: “I see it; it must be Ability Users sent by the Alliance who have come to our rescue.”

Tian Ming frowned, and with a flash of his figure, he vanished from his spot.

The next moment, he appeared on the ground not far from the building.

In front, a black mist enveloped the area—those were countless Nanometer Avatars, tearing at the Corpse King before them, but it was useless; the Corpse King's repair speed was faster than the damage caused by the Nanometer Avatars.
