476: Extra: About the Surrendered Minister

Below is the initial concept for this book, a detailed introduction to the background and similar elements. Those interested can take a look.

Jiang Chen, originally named Jiang Mingcheng.

The timeline goes back to the period when gaia ultraman (referred to as 'Taisui' in the East) was suspended in low-Earth orbit.

At that time, various countries dispatched a large number of probes to collect samples from it, discovering a dormant zombie virus.

These zombie viruses absorbed the rule power of the Yuanchu God. After the samples were collected, they were researched in top-tier Laboratories around the world.

Jiang Chen's predecessor was a scientific researcher. Due to a violation of procedures, he took off his isolation suit before leaving the isolation zone, got infected by the sample, and became the zero-numbered zombie.

Subsequently, to avoid causing chaos, he was kept imprisoned for observation and research.

After infection, the zombie virus causes loss of consciousness and sanity, but new sanity then develops, retaining previous memories.

Jiang Chen was no exception. During the Laboratory phase, he underwent various targeted destruction tests, such as resistance to blows, toxicity tests, and regeneration tests.

I won't go into detail here; those who know, know. But this process was extremely painful. Jiang Chen's consciousness also emerged at this time, more than a year before the zombie outbreak.

Therefore, after the outbreak, Jiang Chen's path of growth became a path of slaughter. On the way to being transferred to Beidu Underground City, Jiang Chen escaped and began to evolve consciously.

After gaining intelligence, he went around signing mental contracts with his own kind, then commanded the corpse race to sign contracts in a chain, until he dominated all of the corpse race.

This hierarchical relationship is a layer-by-layer pyramid structure.

After gaining control of resources, Jiang Chen began to seek long-term goals; he naturally understood that the corpse race could not last long relying on brute force. Thus, he launched the human captive breeding program.

Zombie transformation elements are generally used for themselves, precisely opposite to the protagonist. In principle, zombies do not need food; they only need to ingest elements that are compatible with themselves to achieve immortality.

However, to evolve intellectually, they still need to feed on humans. Therefore, Jiang Chen's human captive breeding program was initially advanced secretly.

But all of this was ruined by the protagonist.

Without the protagonist, a new God-level Civilization might have emerged on Blue Star.

The idea is actually very simple: survival of the fittest. Humans eating pigs, cattle, sheep, dogs, and chickens is quite normal in human perception, so zombies eating... (those who know, know).

Jiang Chen actually wanted to win over the protagonist, but with different worldviews, they could never be together.

Later, when the zombies initiated infinite replication and reproduction, it was equivalent to giving up their future. Jiang Chen can be considered a tragic Corpse Emperor, but he, like the protagonist, possesses an immortal body.

So, did Jiang Chen die? In fact, he did not die; his body particles are still reorganizing, but it might take a very, very long time for the energy-depleted particles to reorganize. The text states it would take at least ten thousand years.

When he reorganizes and revives again, he might be facing humans of a God-level Civilization.

Therefore, Jiang Chen is quite miserable.

Many characters in the book actually have background stories. As I wrote, one hundred and fifty days passed without a single day missed. Writing quickly, there are still many, many regrets.

So, it's not perfect, and I hope everyone can accept it. Also, due to my own reasons, I was disturbed by some trolls, which was due to my own will not being strong enough, so I still have to say sorry.

This is the second extra chapter, not to pad the word count, but just written casually after the conclusion.
