306: The God of the Beginning Awakens

Tian Ming and Lisa stayed behind. Given the current situation, they needed to wait for the Third Clone to finish absorbing the Red Crystal Core before proceeding with their next move.

Throughout the night, Tian Ming remained silent. He spread out his palm, and an invisible pressure continuously compressed a cluster of hydrogen atoms. It first turned into a solid, then a liquid, and finally, all the electrons outside the nucleus of the hydrogen atoms were pressed into the nucleus.

The energy within was immense; if the pressure restraint were to be lost, it would likely explode instantly, destroying the world. Tian Ming felt the change in the elements; the protons in the nucleus turned into neutrons after absorbing electrons. If he continued to compress it, it would become neutron star matter.

One kilogram of neutron star matter is smaller than a virus. Using this as a weapon is not very realistic because even if the entire Blue Star were compressed into a neutron star, its diameter would only be about 20 meters. Where would Tian Ming get so much matter to compress?

Tian Ming slowly controlled the pressure, wanting to restore it, but the substance, smaller than a virus, showed no movement. Suddenly, one kilogram of neutron star matter vanished. Immediately after, Tian Ming felt an extremely vast energy emanating from his palm.

At that instant, time seemed to stand still, and the Yuanchu God within him awakened.

"Idiot, is this something you can just play with?" A deep voice suddenly rang out, and Tian Ming felt as if he had traveled through space. The surrounding scenery instantly disappeared, and he appeared in the vast cosmic expanse.

A small sun suddenly exploded in the deep space. That was the energy reaction from the neutron star matter Tian Ming had compressed. In a zero-gravity environment, such an explosion was soundless, yet he could feel the world-destroying energy.

"Foolish behavior, do you know what you were doing just now?" The voice resonated in his mind again, filled with authority and displeasure.

Tian Ming looked around, finding himself in the universe, surrounded by a starry sky. He looked at the scene before him in surprise, unsure what to say.

"Who are you?" Tian Ming asked.

"I am the God who bestowed you with abilities."

"Yuanchu God?" Tian Ming asked in confusion.

"Hmm!"

Tian Ming was surprised in his heart, never expecting that his casual attempt would actually awaken this mysterious existence.

"Are you omnipotent?"

The Yuanchu God was silent for a moment, then said, "Not omnipotent. I was born from the fundamental rules of this universe, so I cannot transcend beyond the rules. The neutron star matter you just compressed, if it lost control, would instantly form a tiny black hole. Although it's very small, it's enough to destroy you."

Tian Ming's heart trembled. He finally understood how dangerous his actions had just been. He took a deep breath, then asked, "I remember, I should be immortal, right?"

"Within a black hole, rules become ineffective, and your consciousness will be swallowed. I can reassemble your body, but I cannot retrieve your consciousness. The one who is immortal is not you, but I."

Tian Ming was silent. He understood the meaning of the Yuanchu God. He was immortal, but not in the true sense of the word, because his consciousness could still be destroyed.

Tian Ming tentatively asked, "Since you have awakened, can you tell me why you chose me? Also, what do you mean by turning Blue Star into this mess?"

The Yuanchu God was silent for a moment, then said, "As intelligent beings, humans can develop a technological civilization by utilizing cosmic laws within a mere million years. This is why I chose you. I need a highly intelligent group to find a theory for me to break free from the constraints of the rules."

"So, everything is just a game of yours? I heard Xin Xin say that you've played many such civilization games."

The Yuanchu God's voice resounded again: "Hmm, but for Blue Star civilization, it is an unprecedented evolution."

Tian Ming frowned: "I cannot agree that turning humans into corpse race is a form of evolution?"

The Yuanchu God did not refute Tian Ming but smiled and said, "You cannot agree because you are looking at the problem from a human perspective. And I did not say that corpse race are the evolutionary species I approve of? Ability Users among humans are also a form of evolution. I need time to prove whether humans or corpse race are more suitable for the future Blue Star."

"What do you mean?" Tian Ming was puzzled.

"Alright, I'll send you back. Don't play with high-density matter anymore. I don't want my game to be ended prematurely by the player I chose."

"Wait, one more question, do you support the corpse race or humans?"

"Gods have no stance."

The Yuanchu God's voice slowly resounded: "I am merely an observer. The struggle between you is just one stage in Blue Star's evolution. And I merely helped you start the game, then wait for the outcome."

"What about me?" Tian Ming asked.

"If you can lead humanity to survive, you will pass my test and become a God."

Tian Ming wanted to ask something else, but the scene before him changed rapidly. He returned to the room, and everything seemed as if it had never happened.

Tian Ming was stunned. He looked at his palm, his heart filled with doubt. He seemed to have entered a special state just now, conversing with the Yuanchu God. But all of it felt like just a dream.

He tried to activate his abilities, but there was no abnormal reaction. He also checked his body and found nothing unusual. Everything that had just happened felt like an illusion.

A faint glimmer of light came through the window; it was dawn. Although it felt like only a few minutes, an entire night had actually passed. The Third Clone had finished absorbing the Red Crystal Core.

Lisa saw Tian Ming open his eyes and said, "You're awake?"

Tian Ming nodded slightly, then asked, "Was there anything unusual about me last night?"

Lisa heard this and asked with a puzzled expression, "You sat there motionless all last night. You didn't respond when I spoke to you, and you even wrapped yourself in your Nanometer Avatar."

Hearing Lisa's description, Tian Ming was stunned for a moment, but he didn't explain anything. He stood up and stretched.

"Has the Red Crystal Core been absorbed?"

Lisa nodded and said, "Hmm, it feels great. I think I can now activate Mind Teleportation for 0.3 seconds. And my ability strength has also increased a bit."

At this moment, the First Clone appeared. A Red Crystal Core was embedded in his chest, and he held two more Red Crystal Cores in his hand. In one night, the First Clone had killed three Corpse Kings.

"Master, as you requested, I assassinated the Corpse Kings without alarming anyone. These are the Red Crystal Cores for the Second and Third Clones."

Tian Ming nodded slightly and merged the two Red Crystal Cores into the bodies of the Second and Third Clones. The efficiency of the Clones in absorbing Red Crystal Cores hadn't changed much; it wasn't that the Clones weren't strong enough. Rather, the Clone's main body was formed by the condensation of countless tiny avatars. Energy needed to be broken down and transmitted layer by layer to each Nanometer Avatar, so the efficiency naturally wouldn't be too high.
