254: First lesson of the training camp: bomb the dormitory first

Beidu, once a bustling metropolis, had become a nest of mutated zombies. With a permanent population of over 30 million, the city's mutation rate reached an astonishing 92.5%, transforming it into a vast and terrifying monster-filled room. For nearly a year, the zombies in this city had undergone unprecedented evolution, with various types of zombies filling the streets and alleys, aimlessly wandering and searching for their next prey.

However, in this chaotic land, the Corpse Kings had carved out their own spheres of influence. Like feudal lords, they each commanded a faction of zombies, forming a relatively stable internal structure. This allowed humans to establish temporary strongholds in certain areas for training and resistance.

The training node Tian Ming was heading to was located in a plaza at the Beidu Central Subway Station. This location was extremely challenging because it was situated in the core area of the zombie horde. Choosing to conduct training here was undoubtedly a great test for the trainees. Establishing a training ground within a zombie horde required not only courage but also strength.

To ensure the smooth progress of the training, the Alliance had set up multiple layers of defense in the plaza. Tall walls rose around the entire ground training ground, covered with spikes and electric fences to prevent zombies from intruding. There were also automatic turrets and high-energy laser weapons.

Overall, this ground training ground located at the Beidu Central Subway Station plaza was fully fortified, making training there full of tension and excitement.

The training personnel had already assembled in the plaza; among the 50 people, 22 were women, and the rest were men. All of them were First-Class Ability Users. These individuals were either new Ability Users or had successfully advanced from Second-Class Ability Users by reinjecting Super Serum.

Li Feng looked at his watch, while Qin Lu stood beside him. There was still one minute until the instructor arrived, but Tian Ming was nowhere to be seen in the entire training ground.

"Why isn't the instructor here yet?" Qin Lu asked, a little anxiously.

"Just wait a bit longer!"

"He's already here!" Tian Ming's voice appeared out of thin air, and his figure slowly emerged in front of the plaza.

Everyone looked over, only to see Tian Ming dressed in an Alliance uniform, carrying a large backpack, and striding over.

Li Feng immediately stepped forward and saluted, "Reporting, Instructor! Li Feng, team leader of the first batch of training personnel for the Super Legion training camp. Fifty people are scheduled for this training, and fifty are present. Please give your instructions, Instructor."

Tian Ming waved his hand and said, "Return to your positions."

"Yes!"

Li Feng jogged back to his position, and Qin Lu followed him back to the team.

Tian Ming scanned the crowd in the plaza, then lowered his head, rummaging through his backpack, and slowly said, "Hmm, where did it go?"

Tian Ming pretended to search for a bit, then took out a container from his backpack that looked like a water cup. Many people on the field recognized it as a container for collecting Corpse King Red Crystal Cores.

Tian Ming then looked up, a mischievous smile playing on his lips, and said, "Becoming your instructor, I'm just a duck on a perch, I don't understand anything. Although the Alliance gave me a set of relevant training plan suggestions, however...!"

Tian Ming paused, then continued, "However, I don't intend to adopt the Alliance's suggestions. This is a Red Crystal Core container. I had the technicians modify it to make it easier to use." As Tian Ming spoke, with his replication, fifty Red Crystal Core containers floated in the space in front of him.

"Li Feng!"

"Here!"

Tian Ming said, "Have them each take one. After you've taken them, immediately go to the dormitory area, pack your bags, and gather here fully armed. You have twenty minutes."

"Yes!"

Upon receiving the order, Li Feng immediately ran to the front of the team and had everyone collect them in order.

Although no one knew what Tian Ming was going to do, these people were soldiers and immediately carried out Tian Ming's orders.

Within a short twenty minutes, the training personnel rushed back to the dormitory area, packed their luggage, and reassembled in the plaza, fully armed. Each person held the Red Crystal Core container tightly in their hand.

Tian Ming looked at the neatly arranged team and nodded with satisfaction. His figure quickly disappeared, and at the same time, a loud bang came from the direction of the dormitory area, followed by a sky-high blaze.

A figure flashed, and Tian Ming reappeared in front of the team. He clapped his hands and said, "Alright, the place you were staying has been blown up by me."

Everyone was stunned by his words, but no one uttered a sound. Everyone maintained a straight face, their discipline impeccable.

Tian Ming continued, "Giving you Red Crystal Core containers is the assessment standard for the first ten days of this training. If, by the end, your Red Crystal Core container is still empty, then I'm sorry, you'll be eliminated early. Fifty people will be divided into five teams, with ten people per team. You will form your own teams, you have five minutes, begin."

After Tian Ming finished speaking, his figure disappeared again, and the next moment, he appeared on top of the watchtower in the center of the training ground.

Tian Ming stood on top of the watchtower, watching the trainees in the training ground hastily forming teams, a smile on his face. He thought, 'Whether they're a mule or a horse, just let them run.' These people could reach this point because, compared to ordinary people, their individual abilities were extremely strong.

With such a group of strong individuals, time should naturally not be spent on conventional training. Instead, they should be directly sent to fight zombies, which aligns with the original intention of the training.

Soon, the five teams were already formed. Li Feng, as the captain of this training session, now became the leader of the First Team. The leader of the Second Team was Qin Lu, the leader of the Third Team was Liu Qing, the leader of the Fourth Team was Zhang Liang, and the leader of the Fifth Team was Wang Yong.

In each team, one person would act as Commander, and the remaining nine would be further subdivided into groups of three, focusing on offense, cover, and support. Within five minutes, this highly militarily proficient team had already self-divided.

Tian Ming touched the Alliance's earphone and said, "Attention all teams, share your location in real-time in the team channel. If you encounter danger and cannot protect yourselves, I will appear immediately to rescue you. Each call for my rescue will deduct 5 points. Each team has an initial score of 100 points. The range for this zombie hunt is five kilometers around this base, which I have already marked in the shared channel."

As soon as Tian Ming finished speaking, the hunting range for zombies was displayed on the AR tactical glasses worn by everyone.

"Alright, now you can set off on your own. We will gather here in ten days. Depart!" Tian Ming shouted, and his figure disappeared from the watchtower.

"Attention all teams, this is the First Team, we are ready to depart." Li Feng was the first to send a message in the channel. As the captain, he had to set an example for his team members.
